So... I am a teen and I always want to look my best. I know I don't look great all the time, but these tips helped me look better.
✼ Hair: Lots of hairstyles can make you look cute. Pigtails are good for long or short hair, but some people find them a bit too cutesy. If you have long or medium length hair, two plaits work really well, and so do natural waves, rather than straightened hair. A low side ponytail is also on option. One last hairstyle is a simple pony tail with a cute Alice band with a bow on the side, but to pull this one off, it needs to be at the middle of the back of the head, and neat and tidy.
✼ Make-up: This is best kept neutral. A little eyeliner, maybe some eye shadow, a little blusher for some colours in your cheeks and some clear lip gloss will look great. Of course, you don't have to wear any make up at all!
✼ Jewelery: This should be kept pretty and petite. A dainty necklace, a little bracelet and a ring will all be brilliant. These work pretty well on their own, but to make jewelery look even more cute, the charms could be flowers, hearts, stars, peace symbols, etc. Quirky jewellery can also be really cute, but try to keep it to one or two statement pieces per outfit.
✼ Tops: With tops you can have anything you want. Cardigans, hoodies, its up to you. Bright colours work well, with pictures of things like butterflies, flowers, etc. The slogan 'Do you think I'm bothered?' also works really well for looking cute.
✼ Bottoms: Again, any trousers can do the trick, but skinny jeans work best (at least for me).
✼ Shoes: Slip on ballet-pump style shoes with a bow on the end definitely look cute, but if you have narrow feet, they won't be an option as they'll just slip off. But normal white trainers, kept clean, will do the trick. The tennis style shoes that are in right now are also brilliant, along with boots. Uggs aren't usually thought of as cute, however.
