Quotes and lyrics to use in an icon

Quotes and lyrics to use in an icon

Hey guys it's Charlie!
So recently I was trying to make some random icons on my account and I wanted to use some kind of quote or some lyrics and I had no idea what I should use. I did eventually find something that I liked. While I was doing all of this I thought that some other people might have the same problems as me so I made a list of things that you could use.
Here they are:

Why are we pointing fingers anyway
when we’re the same?
Ariana Grande, Best Mistake

I could be the one to make you feel that way
 i could be the one to set you free

Pick you up if you fall to pieces
 let me be the one to save you
5 Seconds Of Summer, Unpredictable

Funny how your the broken one
 but i’m the only one who needed saving
Rihanna, Stay

Now that it’s over
I just want to break your heart right back
Ariana Grande, Break Your Heart Right Back

I’ve been looking everywhere and wishing on stars
there may never be a love as messed up as ours
My Crazy Girlfriend, Crazy, Stupid Love

Choose to shine

HAKUNA MATATA
It means no worries for the rest of your days
The Lion King

I fell in love the way you fall asleep
slowly, and then all at once
John Green, The Fault In Our Stars

Don’t grow up
it’s a trap

Just a little bit of your heart
is all I want
Ariana Grande, Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart

All I want is nothing more
than to hear you knocking at my door
because just to see your face once more
I could die a happy man I’m sure
Kodaline, All I Want

Don’t lose who you are
in the blur of stars
Jessie J

I will follow you into the dark

Good girls are bad girls that haven’t been caught
5 Seconds Of Summer, Good Girls

A good girl is like sweet lemonade on a hot day
5 Seconds Of Summer, Good Girls Music Video

I have credited as many as I could to the author, movie or band/artist but there were some that I didn't know.
Hope this helps some of you!

My morning routine for school!

My morning routine for school!

Hey guys it's Charlie!
This is my morning routine for school in spring!

1. My alarm goes off at 6:10 and I snooze it until I wake up at 6:50.
2. I get changed.
3. I head into the bathroom and brush my teeth, wash my face then put on moisturiser and sunscreen.
4. I go into my room to do my makeup. When I go to school I only wear mascara and sometimes I wear concealer.
5. I do my hair. This is usually taking out a french braid from the previous night and wearing it down or putting it into a ponytail.
6. I go down stairs to make lunch and eat breakfast.
7. I go back to my room and pack my back for the day according on the subjects that I have.
8. I leave the house at 7:35 to walk to the bus stop and go to school.

So that's pretty much it. It does vary depending on the day and sometimes I wake up earlier/later which means that it's a bit different.
I hope you enjoyed it!
Love Charlie

How To Keep In Touch With Friends

How To Keep In Touch With Friends

Hey guys, Hanna here.

When friends move away, it's hard to keep in touch with them. You both get busy with your separate lives and don't have the time to catch up with each other. Nonetheless, it's important to keep in touch with friends.Here are some ideas for keeping in touch with your buds.

✿ Call often. Simply pick up the phone and call whenever you can - it doesn't have to be a long phone call. Just a quick 5 minute call can get you caught up with your pal, and he or she will know you were thinking of them. Let her know that you want to know what's going on with her. They're probably interested to hear about what your up to, too!

✿ Use Skype. With Skype, you can video conference with people who live far away from you. Just get a camera for your computer.

✿ Email or chat online. Make sure you both have e-mail addresses, and you're all set! Homemade letters can easily get lost on the way, get torn, or just get boring. E-mailing your pals is a great and helpful way to stay in touch with each other. Use instant messengers such as MSN or AIM to your advantage, by talking to all your pals at once! Whenever you switch on the computer, be sure to check your in-box of updates!

✿ Write letters. It's fun to get mail, and sometimes letters can be a great way to let your pal know what's going on with you. Not sure where to start? It's easy! Tell them how much you miss them, and then tell them all about what's going on in your life. Don't be afraid of being boring...if they know exactly what's up, they'll feel closer to you. Some people find it hard to write letters - it's a lot different than talking! Just write as though you're talking to your friend. Use phrases that you say a lot. Do you say "like" pretty much like, every second word? Then use that when you're writing! It's easy once you get going. Finish your letter off with smiley faces, drawings, x's and o's...whatever seems suitable.

✿ Send cards. Hallmark cards are easily accessible, and it's a non-time-consuming way to let your bud know your thinking about them. Pick something that you think will make them laugh, or one with heartfelt sentiments that describe your friendship. Hallmark's line of musical cards - they sing when you open them! - are sure to bring a smile. Then just sign your name, add a quick message, and send it off!

✿ Send gifts in the mail! Baking, books, magnets, bookmarks, jewelry, games, pictures and videos of you and your family and friends...anything goes! Sometimes the littlest things can show that you care the most - just inexpensive trinkets that show that you're thinking of your friend!

✿ Don't wait for your friend to make the first move...don't wait for her to call you or send you a letter! Who knows how busy she is...or if she's waiting for you! Don't expect her to make the first move... make it your responsibility.

✿ Make plans to see each other...if you know you're going to hang out soon, you'll keep in touch.

✿ Talk to your friend as much as possible make sure that you give her a chance to talk about HER life too. If you don't she might feel like it is all about you.

✿ Use the internet to your advantage. Make sure you have your friend's screen name, Facebook page, email address, etc.

✿ Keep important contact details in one place. You'll need to know your friends' phone numbers and social media account details.

✿ It's hard to keep in touch, and there may be times when things just don't seem the same as they used to be. If you can, arrange to meet whenever possible. It'll refresh your friendship.

And that's that. Hope it helps.

xoxo

How To Have Your Own Style As A Girl

How To Have Your Own Style As A Girl

Hey guys, it's Hanna.

If you haven't already, take the time develop your identity as an individual and understand what makes you you. Be a Queen!

♀ Figure out what kind of clothes make you feel like you look good. This means having your clothes reflect who you are. Of course, if comfortable clothes are the things you like, then go for it.

♀ Study stylish role models. Celebrities often hire someone to help them develop coherence to their styles, but you don't have to. Observe a few celebrities whose style you appreciate and see how they skillfully always choose outfits that tie to their personal style. Don't mimic their style, just mimic their methods. Do they always stick to certain colors? Are they always sleek, or always casual? Never try to be exactly them just make it and use them as guidelines.

♀ Make your own clothes and accessories. Unless your style involves brand names and/or you're just not the crafty type, making your own wardrobe is a sure-fire way to develop your own style. Again, focus on colors, symbols, and fashions that reflect you as an individual.

♀ Sport an article of clothing or an accessory that no one else wears, and wear it commonly.

♀ Don't let others tell you, that you look ugly. If you are wearing something that makes you feel good, that's all that matters.

♀ Accessorize. Accessories are the things that really complete an outfit.

♀ When you shop at places like Abercrombie or Hollister, you might find that many people will be wearing the same thing as you. Try shopping at places like thrift stores, local stores or vintage stores, to create a style that is truly unique.

♀ Style isn't just about looking good. It's a big part of it, but try not to be too uncomfortable.

♀ Do not copy other people's outfits. Try and have your own sense of style!

♀ Some people may laugh at you, but just keep walking and be yourself . Remember it doesn't matter what others think about you!

That's it guys. Hope it helps!

xoxo

It Was Always You - Maroon 5 LYRICS

It Was Always You - Maroon 5 LYRICS

Hi guys! Tijana here! So lately I've been loving this song from Maroon 5's new album "V". It's their best album yet, for sure, and it's my favorite for this season. Here are the lyrics from their new song "It Was Always You".

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 * IT WAS ALWAYS YOU *
 Woke up sweating from a dream
 With a different kind of feeling
 All day long my heart was beating
 Searching for the meaning
 Hazel eyes
 I was so color blind
 We were just wasting time
 For my whole life
 We never crossed the line
 Only friends in my mind
 But now I realize,
 It was always you
 Can't believe I could not see it all this time, all this time
 It was always you
 Now I know why my heart wasn't satisfied, satisfied
 It was always you, you
 No more guessing who
 Looking back now I know it was always you, always you
 All my hidden desires
 Finally came alive
 No, I never told lies
 To you so why would I
 Start tonight
 Hazel eyes
 I was so color blind
 We were just wasting time
 For my whole life
 We never crossed the line
 Only friends in my mind
 But now I realize,
 It was always you
 Can't believe I could not see it all this time, all this time
 It was always you
 Now I know why my heart wasn't satisfied, satisfied
 It was always you, you
 No more guessing who
 Looking back now I know it was always you, always you
 (Aah yeah, yeah, you, you, you, always you, you you)
 (Aah yeah, yeah, you, you, you, always you, you you)
 Woke up sweating from a dream
 With a different kind of feeling
 It was always you
 Can't believe I could not see it all this time, all this time
 It was always you
 Now I know why my heart wasn't satisfied, satisfied
 It was always you, you
 No more guessing who
 Looking back now I know it was always you, always you
 It was always you
That's all! I tried to keep it neat and in line! The lyrics are correct, so I hope you liked it! Make sure to listen to their song now! I love it!
Lots of love,
Tijana
My morning routine! Fall 2014
My morning routine! Fall 2014
Hi guys! Tijana here! I'm sorry I haven't been posting a while, I was really busy with school! But now I'm back with a tip where you will see my morning routine! (+ some tips). Let's start...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 | 8:40 - 9:00 |
My alarm wakes me up at 8:40. I give myself 20 minutes before I start doing my homework. In those 20 minutes I finish my morning hygiene, check my Pinterest or Instagram, and make a nice breakfast.

 | 9:00 - 10:30 |
I do my homework for about an hour and a half. It's important to be organized, so I usually make a plan for studying. Also, I never study at night (because it's very hard for me to concentrate then), and that's why a studying plan helps me so much.

 | 10:30 - 10:40 |
When I finish with my homework, I pick an outfit. Since it's fall, I just pick a long sleeve shirt, a pair of leggings, boots and a jacket.

 |10:40 - 10:50 |
Then, I pack some things in my school bag. Along with the books I need, in my bag there is always a snack (usually a bag of cookies), a wallet, my phone and a cute pencil case.

 | 11:30 - 12:40 |
After that, I go to my best friend's house where we make ourselves a lunch.
We read a magazine and listen to music. At 12:40 we meet our friends and then we go to school together.

* Hope you liked my morning routine! I will be making more tips because I don't have a lot of studying to do! :)

Lots of love!
Tijana

How To Stop Rumors

How To Stop Rumors

Hello everyone, Hanna here!

This tip is all about stopping rumours. Hope it helps!

☺ Don't play dumb. Don't act like you have no idea about what people are saying about you. Acting clueless will only make people think the rumors are true. There's no point in acting like you haven't heard the rumors if everyone else in your school or workplace has. Acknowledging that you know a rumor is going around about you is the first step to tackling it.

☺ Don't let them see how much you care. Avoid acting openly angry, upset, or hurt about the rumors. Even if they really were very mean and painful, if you let yourself get upset publicly, then you'll be letting the other side win. If you really are upset about them, talking to some close friends will help much more than letting the world see you get upset. So keep a stiff upper lip, keep your head high, and don't let them get to you.

☺ Don't fight fire with fire. Though it may be tempting to fight the rumor with a different rumor, you should take the high road and not fall into the low-life business of spreading rumors. Sure, you can spread a rumor about the person who started it, or spread a completely different rumor just to make people stop talking about you, but if you do this, chances are you'll only make things worse and will look desperate and like you aren't any better than the person or people who spread the rumor to begin with.

☺ Talk to an adult or authority figure if you have to. Sure, talking to an adult or your boss about vicious rumors may not be fun, but it can get the person who spread them in trouble and can make you feel better about the situation. If the rumors are being spread at school, for example, and you know exactly who started them, then talking to an authority figure can give the rumor-spreader a good scare and can get the rumors to stop as quickly as possible.

☺ Stand up for yourself. Don't confuse taking a stand for integrity with "being defensive". Find a platform where you can communicate your side of the story. Since silence is not always so golden, it is good to have some things you can be prepared to say: "I do not believe that is true." or "This appears to be an unfounded (or vicious) rumor. Such things can do a lot of harm." Look people in the eye when you say that.Make sure your side of the story prevails.

☺ Determine what lends credibility to the rumor, and stop it. People are more likely to tell rumors that are plausible, and that hinge on the existence of suggestive evidence. For instance, a rumor about a workplace affair will take off if the two people involved flirt in the office, or sit together every day at lunch. Once you determine what is feeding the rumor, take steps to remove it, if you can.

☺ Prove that it's not true if you can. If you have evidence that can prove that the rumor isn't true, then you should put it forth. For example, if people are saying your boyfriend isn't real, bring him to the next party. If people are gossiping that you don't know how to swim, throw a pool party. If you can produce a document that can prove the rumor false once and for all, don't think it's beneath your dignity to do so.

☺ Broadcast the rumor. Yes, that's right. Verbalize or post the rumor in a prominent way. By acknowledging the rumor, you're taking away some of its momentum. Rumors spread like wildfire because the people who spread them do so in order to gain social status, and that depends on them having the "inside scoop." If you broadcast their "inside information" then they won't have any motivation to spread the rumor. Everybody will already know!

☺ Confront the source. If you know who spread the rumor, then you may want to talk to the person who did it. Be civil and keep your head high and talk to the person honestly about why he or she spread the rumor and acknowledge the trouble it's caused without looking too upset. Say something like, "I know we're not exactly best friends, but spreading false rumors about me is not the way to resolve our issues."

☺ Take care of yourself. Rumors can make people upset, angry, or even depressed. No matter what people are saying about you, keep your head high and remember who you are. Don't let other people determine your value in this life and stay strong, no matter what people are saying about you. Make sure to spend time with good friends, get enough sleep, and to maintain your self-esteem in spite of what people are saying about you.

And that's that. I hope you guys found this helpful!

xoxo

How To Make Roasted Berry And Honey Yogurt Popsicles

How to make... Roasted Berry and Honey Yogurt Popsicles
How to make... Roasted Berry and Honey Yogurt Popsicles

INGREDIENTS
- 12 ounces (two small containers) small berries, like blueberries and raspberries
- 2 teaspoons sugar (preferably turbinado sugar), optional
- Dash of sea salt
- 2 tablespoons + ¼ cup honey (to taste)
- 2 cups whole Greek yogurt (I used Fage)
- ½ small lemon, juiced

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, gently toss berries with the sugar, a dash of sea salt and 2 tablespoons honey.

2. Pour the berries onto the prepared baking sheet and arrange the berries in a single layer. Roast for 30 minutes, stirring halfway, or long enough for the berry juices to thicken but not burn (watch the edges in particular).

3. While the fruit is roasting, blend together the Greek yogurt and lemon juice in a medium bowl. Mix in honey to taste, until it is barely sweet enough for your liking (keep in mind that the berries will be very sweet).

4. Let the berries cool for at least ten minutes, then scrape the berries and all of their juices into the bowl of yogurt. Use a big spoon to gently fold the mixture together (for a marbled effect, do not mix thoroughly).

5. Use the spoon to transfer the yogurt blend into the popsicle mould and freeze for at least four hours. When you're ready to pop out the popsicles, run warm water around the outsides of the moulds for about ten seconds and gently remove the popsicles. Enjoy immediately.

Stay Awesome

Conversation starters with boys

Conversation starters with boys

Hi guys! Tijana here! So this tip was requested by @abbythegreat13 and I really hope it helpes!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. First smile at him. If he smiles back, that's a good sign! It's like a green light! But if you feel too shy to approach him, just remember that BOYS LIKE CONFIDENT GIRLS!
2. Now for the conversation starters. One "hi" and a big smile is what boys fall for. Trust me. If he also smiles when he says "hi" you can start!
- If that boy goes to your school ask him something like: "Hey, I heard that the math teacher is giving us a test tomorrow! Is that true?"
- He'll probably be like: "I hope not, I didn't study!"
- And you can say: " Me neither lol"
Then wait about 4 to 5 seconds until you (or him) speak again. If he is still standing where he was, and if he didn't use any excuses like: "I gotta hurry home! Bye!" or something like that, you caught him.
- Continue the conversation with him saying (if you don't know him in person): "I'm (Y/N), and what's your name?"
He will answer and maybe even say something like: "I'm in the class 7c and you?" If he says that, girl, you are going to be friends and more! That is a simple clue he's interested! Or as I like to call it "CONVERSATION CONTINUES"
3. For the next sentence you'll say, you need to be brave and calm. Just simply say: "So... Wanna hang out sometimes" or "Hey, I was wondering are you busy tomorrow?"
If he accepts, just say "Cool, sounds great" or "I'm free (on example) on Sunday"
RULE: DON'T DEAL WITH ANY TIME HE SUGESTS! You don't want him to think he owns you! Be mysterious...
On example:
HIM: I can hang out on Saturday.
YOU: Well, on Saturdays I go out with my friends in that cute coffee shop next to school... So...
Then, you'll be a bit mysterious and he will try to be near you all the time. Because you left an AMAZING EXPRESSION...
I kind of ended up with the whole conversation not just the starters, but here is a list of cool conversation starters with any boy:
- "Hey I think I know you from somewhere..."
- "Hey! Do you often train football here, because I keep seeing you?"
- "Hi, me and my friends were looking for some cool places to hang out. Know any?"
- "Excuse me, I got lost, I was looking for that pet shop that supposed to be somewhere in this street, can you help me find it?"
- *accidentally run into him and drop your books, purse, bags, or whatever you're carrying* "Omg, I'm so clumsy, thanks for helping me out! By the way, I'm Tijana..."
- *prepare for this sentence by hiding the object 'you lost' on a particular place, without him seeing* "Hey, did you see a notebook anywhere? I can't find it and I lost it 20 minutes ago! I'll be late for my class!"
(He will probably offer to search for it with you. While you're searching, mention your name, and the conversation will start itself)
- Do this if he is reading a book. Just approach him and ask what book is that. When he answers say you've read it. But don't lie about you reading that book! You can easily get in trouble if he asks you about something in that book!
That's it! I hope it helps, I would love to see if my tip made things a bit easier for you! Lots of love!
-Tijana
Hair Tips
Hair Tips
Hey girls, it's Hanna!
In this tip I will give you a few hair tips. I myself also do some of these stuff.
✳ Squeeze-dry your hair
Prevent frizz by using a paper towel to gently wring water from your strands. The paper won't create as much friction as a towel, so your hair ends up less frizzy, it also absorbs more water than a cloth towel, also really speeding up your drying time.
✳ Turn up the heat on volumizing styles
Many volume-enhancing products are heat activated. So scrunching or combing them in, then letting your hair air-dry will not make the most of their lifting effects. A better bet (even if you don't blow-dry your whole head) is to aim warm air at your roots, activat-ing the stylers and giving your hair the oomph you desire.
✳ Avocado Hair mask:
Combine two egg whites with half of a mashed-up-avocado; leave it in hair for 15 minutes, then wash and conditio. it's inexpensive and fast natural remedy that leaves your beautiful hair super-smooth.
✳ Avoid brushing your hair while it's wet.
Wet hair has a tendency to break and its stretchier. Also DO NOT brush your hair too much. There is a saying that if you brush your hair 100 strokes it will make your hair beautiful smoothe, but it will only cause breakage to your hair.
✳ Give your hair some special treatment from time to time.
Apply a deep conditioning treatment or you can use treatments like olive oil, argan oil, avocado oil and coconut oil. Also you can purchase some hair masks at your drug store.
✳ Put beautiful accessorizes in your hair.
And that's it for this tip! Hope it helps.
xoxo
How to organize an awesome Halloween party
How to organize an awesome Halloween party
Hi, Tijana here! I wanted to make a tip on some easy and non-expensive ways to make a Halloween party, so here it is! I worked hard on it and I hope you'll like it!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

1. Decorations.
First you need to know what kind of party are you making - a dinner party or a disco party. If you decided to have a peaceful, nice dinner party, here are some decorations that you can use:
~ Halloween themed tablecloths (with pumpkin, bat or skull prints)
~ Vintage chandelier. It's fancy and in a Halloween style!
~ Spider glass holders. You can find these in a decor store or a dollar store and they are super cute! You can paint their eyes in different colors so your guests can recognize their glass easy.

Or, if you decided to go for a wild, disco party try these:
~ You can never go wrong with: skulls, rats, bats, blood, bones, pumpkins, candles, spider webs...
~ Decorate some paper cups with black and gold glitter or with some halloween style duck tape.
~ A DIY decoration: you need some empty toilet paper rolls and some glow sticks. Cut out eye shapes (like ones that glow in dark in cartoons) and place glow sticks inside. Turn off the light and watch what happens!

2. Treats.
When there's a lot of people on a party, snacks are just a lot of candy and Pringles in a bowl. But, if you have some time, try out these easy home made recipes and amaze your guests:

http://www.allyou.com/food/treats/cheap-halloween-treats

3. Costume.
You don't need to have a costume party, but just think about it. It's Halloween! And if you're worried about the prices of costumes, don't waste money and make your own! I've been haunting the web and here is what I found:

4. Music.
Unless you want your disco party to be like a funeral, choose some nice, party songs. I made a list of 15 popular songs that are Halloween inspired, so you can add more and make your party unforgettable.

1. Calling All The Monsters - China Anne McClain
2. Thriller - Michael Jackson
3. Beautiful Monster - Ne-Yo
4. Madhouse - Little Mix
5. Disturbia - Rihanna
6. Black Widow - Iggy Azalea
7. Cannibal - Ke$ha
8. E.T. - Katy Perry
9. Problem (Monster Remix) - Becky G
10. R.I.P. - Rita Ora
11. She Wolf - Shakira
12. Freak - Kelly Rowland
13. Monster - Eminem
14. Funhouse - P!nk
15. Glory and Gore - Lorde

5. Have fun! Sing, dance and enjoy in your Halloween party. Have a HAUNTED time!

How To Motivate A Team

How To Motivate A Team

Hey guys, it's Hanna!

So as you probably already know, I'm a dancer and I dance in a team. It is important to keep your team motivated and here a few tips on how to do that!

☮ Discuss the benefits of success. If you want your team to be motivated, then you have to explain the positive outcomes of achieving the objective. By incorporating this team motivating step, you are putting the control over their future compensation or other rewards into their own hands. Your team should see how their success would benefit not only the company, but also each individual team member. If you really want to motivate them, then you have to make your goals as concrete as possible so they can feel a tangible reward.

☮ Keep your team interested. Build a sense of curiosity within your team members' mindsets so that that they are interested enough to want to achieve the goals you expect. By doing this, your team members will want to learn more. This can be achieved if you understand what excites or interests your team members. Get to know what matters most to the members as a team and as individuals. If you keep things interesting and exciting by mentioning concrete goals, changes, and improvements, they will want to keep working.

☮ Set realistic goals. Know what your team is capable of and set a goal that they can actually reach. It's good to be ambitious when setting goals, but if you make them so challenging that your team is destined to fail, then everyone will only feel discouraged. Establish a realistic goal and provide a tool that shows their progress as they get closer to attaining that goal. Setting micro-goals along the way is also a great way to ensure success, so your team doesn't feel like it's all or nothing.

☮ Create some friendly competition. Create a competitive environment that will inspire your team members to achieve their goals. Have small competitions with tangible rewards, even if it's just a free lunch, to get people excited about working their hardest. This can help your team exceed its own expectations, as long as you make the guidelines clear and make sure that people are getting along.

☮ Put your team members in control of their own destiny when instilling team motivation. You can have an objective that needs to be met, but passing that sense of control over each of your team members will give them the feeling that achieving the goal is something they want done. If they just feel like you're barking orders at them and that they're checking them off one by one, then they'll feel like they have no initiative or control over the situation.

☮ Design a tool for recognition when motivating your team. By doing this, team members know that their individual efforts will be noticed and not lost as a team effort. This will inspire all members to do their share. If members know that they will only be rewarded and recognized as a team, they may be more inclined to hide behind the efforts of others. This, in turn, may cause resentment amongst those who did all the work.

☮ Get the team members to work together. Establish a plan of action that requires cooperation between team members so that they are forced to work together to achieve that goal. If every team member is just working individually, then there may not be as much team unity or cohesiveness. No individual can make the team succeed, and optimal success comes from having all of the members of the team work together as well as they possibly can.

☮ Get to know each member of your team. Getting to know each member of the team and having an idea of what makes each person tick can go a long way in helping you motivate the team. If you have a sense of each person individually, you can see that some people are more visual learners, some are better at accepting criticism than others, some are born leaders, and that others work best under the guidance of more experienced team members. Taking the time to see each person as an individual will really make a difference in the team efforts you'll see.

☮ Recognize the members of your team. If it's somebody's birthday, or someone just got married or had a baby, make them feel special. Send an email. Bring in a cake. Give him or her a silly card -- do whatever is appropriate for the occasion, as long as you are respecting that person's privacy. It's important to make each member of the team feel important and like they are wanted and needed.

☮ Be friendly…but not too friendly. It's important to be on friendly terms with your team members, to make small talk, and to make them feel wanted and cared for, but you don't want to cross too far over that line. If you end up being BFF with your team members, then chances are that they won't listen to you or take you as seriously as they would if you maintained a respectable distance from them.

☮ Create social events outside of work. Motivate your team by not having everything be all about work, work, work. Have monthly happy hours to have the members of your team relax a bit. Have a Sunday softball league with interested team members. Have everyone in the team go out for lunch together every two weeks instead of everyone going their separate ways so people are more motivated to work hard because they'll know each other better.

☮ Create a comfortable environment. If things in the office are tense, impersonal, cold, and unfriendly, then yeah, your employees won't be as motivated as they would if they walk into the office feeling happy, safe, and warm. Okay, so some people will never love walking in to work, but you can do your best to make them like the experience as much as possible. Have treats at the office, windows that offer lots of sunlight, and a friendly, casual atmosphere where people feel comfortable.

☮ Keep things fresh and exciting. Though your job and your team's job may be pretty straightforward, try to mix things up as much as you can. Even if your team's job is really to write reports all day, see if you can find a way to be a bit more creative so they are not doing the same old thing every day, and so that they stay motivated and excited to be there. No matter what the task is, if your team members are doing the same thing 8 hours a day, every day, they are bound to get bored and to lose motivation.

☮ Stay positive. Maintain a positive outlook and a positive attitude as much as you can. Even if things aren't going well, keep your head up as much as you can, because positive -- and negative -- attitudes can be very contagious. If you keep up a positive attitude, the members of your team are sure to follow, and they will be more motivated for it. If everyone is down in the dumps, then they are guaranteed to get less work done.

☮ Be a good role model. If you really want to motivate your team, then you have to be a good role model and someone that each individual team member can look up to. You don't have to be perfect, but you should be hard working, reasonable, willing to communicate, and generally a smart, reliable employee. If you're not demonstrating the very traits you want your team to embody, then why would they follow suit?

I know that this is super long, but I hope it helps!

How To Become The Most Stylish Girl In School

How To Become The Most Stylish Girl In School

Hello everyone, Hanna here!

High school is a time in your life you will never forget. You go through many experiences and get introduced to the "adult" world. Everyone knows education (intellectually and relationally) is a key factor to success in life. However, this doesn't mean that high school has to be a boring experience. We all know that becoming a teenager and going to high school means that you'll become more aware of how you look. You can make your life interesting and fun by putting together attractive outfits, establishing a fashionable reputation, and thinking about how to reflect your personality through your style.

✌ Clean out your closet. Take all your clothes out and place them somewhere that you can see them all at the same time (e.g., bed, floor). Separate your clothes in two sections; the clothes you like and the ones you don't. Get rid of the things that are out of style, don't fit, are damaged, or that you don't like anymore. Donate these things to charity, or if you want to make extra money, sell them to a local consignment shop or a place that pays on-the-spot, like Plato's Closet, or Uptown Cheapskate.

✌ Figure out and define your style. Everyone has a different style, and it is probably made up of many different tastes and fashions. Make it your own and make sure it's something you feel comfortable with. Read magazines such as InStyle, Lucky, Seventeen and Teen Vogue/Vogue for some fashion inspiration. Examine ads and articles and pay attention to what you like and dislike. When you go into clothes stores, buy the stuff you like best and won't regret buying. Try on and feel fabrics to see which you would like best to wear. Try to emulate the former and avoid the latter.

✌ Have good hair. Fashion isn't just about clothing. How many times have you seen a cute outfit ruined by bad hair? Find a style that works for your hair--it can be wavy, curly, straight, brown, blonde, red--whatever, so it looks natural, pretty, and flattering. Find a talented hair stylist and get tips from her/him.

✌ Do not limit yourself to brand names. By doing this, you will only end up looking like everybody else. Which makes you look like you want to blend in when you actually want to stand out. Stylish girls' clothes always gets the eyes by looking different from the others. It's okay to shop at Abercrombie, American Eagle, Hollister, etc., but make sure very few of your clothes say "A&F" across the chest (especially if you're in middle/high school/college). Try to wear something different that will make you stand out, but in a fashionable, reasonable way. Scour second-hand shops, Forever 21, Urban Outfitters, local boutiques and garage sales for unique garments and accessories.

Extra tipsies for you guys:

✌ Show confidence when you wear your clothes; don't be ashamed of your appearance.

✌ Make your own style. Combine clothes that nobody has before. Your own style says who you are.

✌ Fashion is a vicious cycle. What's in the thrift store today will be on the runway tomorrow, so think twice if you have clothes you like and are only considering giving away because they aren't 'fashionable'. Style is personal and doesn't fluctuate the same way that fashion does.

✌ Purchase small accessories that will match your new outfits.

✌ If someone has something you like don't copy it exactly, find something you like that looks similar so that they won't think you are a style-stealer.

✌ Be open minded about trying new things.

✌ Being original requires attitude. If you don't have the self-confidence to stand up to your fashion choices, you'll begin to water it down until you look like anybody else.

✌ Don't copy others' styles directly or completely. Be inspired by others, but make their ideas your own.

✌ Watch out for your school's dress code if they have one.

And that's all! Hope it helps.

xoxo

How To Make Friends Online

How To Make Friends Online

Hey guys, it's Hanna!

I have made quit many friends online and here are a few tips on how to do that.

01. Add value to the community you are trying to make friends in, by making intelligent comments in the forums, sharing good content or otherwise helping out. Comment on a profile or send a message to someone who interests you.

02. Be kind and respectful.

03. Look for like-minded people. Do you have a favorite hobby, sport, or interest? If you do, there's almost a 100% chance that there's a group of people out there who share your interest, and have a website where people gather to talk about it.

04. Find a website where people are either interested in meeting new people or people share similar interests. Some examples of general interest sites where you can make new friends:
- Facebook
- Twitter
- Google Plus
- YouTube
- Tumblr
- Polyvore

05. The Internet can be safe for children! There a whole generation coming up who are born into the world of social media and online friendships.

06. Find more than just conversation. Meet that man or woman of your dreams, and get to know them before you even start to date. Are they like you? Do they share the same social and political points of view? Will she be alright with your football habit, and will he be alright with your closet full of shoes?

Hope this helps!

How To Make A New Wardrobe By Recycling Your Clothes

How To Make A New Wardrobe By Recycling Your Clothes
 Hey guys, it's Hanna.

This tip way requested by @tikica-popadic.

Getting tired of wearing the same old thing or looking like everyone else? You don't have to spend a ton of money or shop for hours to get a new wardrobe. Instead of getting new clothes or throwing out your old ones, use these suggestions and tips to recycle them.

01. Set aside clothes that need work. Go through your closet and/or dresser and pick out anything you are tired of, hate, or don’t wear because it’s too worn out. Put these clothes into a pile and put the rest of your clothes back.

02. Go through your pile. Looking through them one at a time, find at least one thing you like about each item. One may have awesome fabric, another, a great print, and another, a unique flair. Maybe your favorite tee is in great shape except for a ripped sleeve, or maybe you have a skirt that’s a hard-to-find color but is two sizes too big. Don’t count something out just because it’s plain or boring; this might make a great base for one of your designs. However, if you really can't find anything redeeming about an item, put it aside for now and move on to something else.

03. Don't automatically throw out clothes that are too small. Jeans that are too short can be cut them into shorts for summer. If a top that’s too small and shows off a little bit of your belly can be cut into a belly top.

04. Start with an item that speaks to you. Decide if you can embellish it in some way to spice it up or deconstruct it into something else. Hold it up next to other items from your collection and see if you can make any interesting matches.

05. Search magazines and the web for inspiration. Useful search terms include "deconstructed clothing" and "DIY" (do-it-yourself). Great sites are listed below, too, but don't forget to look on your own - there are lots of ideas out there!

06. Think of design ideas that don’t require sewing. For example, consider adding fabric paint or beads, slashing it for peek-a-boo effect, shortening it, dying it, cutting off the sleeves, ironing on a transfer that you printed from your computer, or, for a punk look, attaching other pieces of fabric to it with safety pins.

07. Sew your more complicated design ideas. If you know how to sew, (or have a friend or relative who might help), consider reworking or even combining different items from your wardrobe. For example, you might: swap the sleeves of two different long-sleeved shirts to create a two-color effect; cut off and sew the collar of a collared shirt into the collar of a closed-neck shirt to fake a layered look; cut and sew a shirt with a torn armpit into a vest; invert a cheap hoodie and turn it into fuzzy mittens; cut out a long strip of an interesting fabric to make a belt, hip sash, or scarf; etc.

08. Give away, swap, or sell the items that don’t speak to you. Donate them to a thrift shop or sell them to a second-hand store. Usually second-hand stores give you the option of receiving cash or in-store credit for your items that sell. You will receive more in credit than you would in cash, and then when you come back to the store in a month or two, you can use your credit to get clothes you do like. If you bring in clothes to consign every time you visit the store, you will most likely have credit the next time you come in, and can establish a monthly or bi-monthly wardrobe rotation without spending any money.

09. You can also dye your clothes. There are many ways to do so. You can use paint for clothes, dip-dye them, bleach them or use other acids to get more distressed look.

I hope this covers everything. If not, let me know and I will make another tip about that.

Beauty Tips

Beauty Tips

Hey guys, it's Hanna!

Today's tip is all about beauty. Keep on reading to learn more!

♛ Eye Cream Is Great For Cuticles
 Instead of spending money on cuticle cream, you can use extra-moisturizing and hydrating eye cream to cure dry cuticles.

♛ Stop Your Hair Colour From Fading
 If you've just had your hair dyed, the last thing you want is for the color to fade. One surefire way to prevent such a mishap from happening? Use a deep-conditioning treatment once a month. This will help lock in color and has the added benefit of staving off dry and damaged locks.

♛ Nix Flaky Mascara
 One of the main reasons mascara will flake onto your face after you apply it is because it's old. Opt for a new container and always remember to keep your mascara tube tightly sealed.

♛ Banish Oil
 The fastest way to clear your skin of any oily breakout, especially in the summer, is to use blotting papers. They'll clean up the excess oil on your epidermis and will prevent breakouts.

♛ If You Have Greasy Hair...
 Avoid applying conditioner directly to your hair's roots -- just apply the heavy moisturizing cream to your locks' ends.

♛ Soften Skin
 Immediately after stepping out of a shower, pool or lake/ocean, apply some sort of cream to skin. Water washes away the skin's natural oils and applying moisture cream will prevent skin chapping.

♛ Cut Back On Pedicures
 Save money on your beauty routine by taking care of your feet on a daily basis. Simply scrub your foot with a pumice stone each morning in the shower. Once you step out and dry off, apply a moisture cream to your feet. This will increase the amount of time you can go without a pedicure and will keep your toes healthy and fungus-free.

♛ Apply Mascara To Fake Lashes
 This will help fake lashes blend in a bit more seamlessly with your natural ones.

♛ Lock It In
 When using cream-based beauty products -- like lipstick or foundation -- apply a dry face powder on top to seal in your look. This also works for blush (apply a cream blush to cheeks, then top with a dry blush).

♛ Change It Up
 Our skin craves different things depending on the time of year. So change up your beauty routine based on the seasons. In the winter, add more moisturizing creams to your daily beauty list. In summer, ensure you're using lots of SPF.

♛ Brush hair from roots to ends nightly. This distributes natural oils throughout the shaft and gives hair a healthy sheen.

♛ Camouflage roots by zigzagging your part rather than making it straight.

♛ Doing your color yourself? Don’t make too drastic a change. Stay within one or two shades of your natural color.

♛ Give Hair Lift
 Before you start blow drying your hair, add a volumizing spray to your roots. This will give your locks some added lift.

♛ Dry Out Pimples
 Believe it or not, dabbing toothpaste onto a pimple is a quick and easy way to dry it out.

♛ Add Oomph To Cheekbones
 To make your cheekbones appear higher and to give them more structure, apply bronzer directly under the cheekbone. You can also add highlighter to the cheekbone itself (under a thin layer of blush).

Hope this helps! And leave a comment below if you have any more beauty related questions.

Fall Bucket List

Fall Bucket List

Hey guys, Hanna here!

Fall is already here and that's why I have decided to make a fall bucket list. Here are some things that we should all try to do this fall!

♦ Build a leaf fort

♦ Have a movie marathon

♦ Build a blanket fort inside when it's raining.

♦ Go to a concert

♦ Go camping while it's still warm enough outside for it.

♦ Watch some TV shows that I never got to watching.

♦ Do some kind of DIY.

♦ Bake.

♦ Read the books I haven't been reading.

♦ Take pictures in the leaves with my friends.

♦ Start writing a book.

♦ Start Christmas Shopping.

And I just noticed that this bucket list is pretty short. If you live somewhere where you can do all of this things, I say go for it. And if not, just try to make the best of it.

Things about Autumn that make you smile-Ariel

Things about Autumn that make you smile-Ariel
Hello my lovelies! I love love love fall, so here are some things that if you are like me you will enjoy!

1. The word “autumn” is clearly the most elegant way to describe a season. It even sounds beautiful.

2. One word: COLOR. It makes every lake look like an oil painting.

3. The food is supremely comforting. Like, for example, a butternut squash casserole.

4. Pumpkin-flavored EVERYTHING.

5. The smell of a fresh bowl of candy corn. It’s a mixture of cake and happiness.

6. Salted caramel is IN SEASON.

7. And caramel apples. Can’t forget those.

8. There’s something about the way rain smells in fall that is just better than spring or summer.

9. And cold drizzles mean it’s finally time to break out all those comfy knit sweaters you’ve been missing.

10. The colors of autumn make everything look stunning, especially if it’s old and worn.(old barn surrounded with a forest in the fall:)

11. And there’s nothing like the smell of crisp air on the open road.

12. Come on. Just look at mountains in the fall!

13. The first sip of a steamy beverage on a brisk day. Think about it. Savor it in your brain.

14. The smell of steamed milk mixing with cinnamon in your favorite mug. Heaven.

15. And the mother of all autumn smells: the pumpkin spice latte.

16. And Halloween means pumpkins with adorable spooky faces carved into them, glowing everywhere.

17. Playing in the leaves.

18. The crunch of leaves underfoot can be experienced just about everywhere.

19. And the smell of freshly made smores is just better in the fall.

20. How about the first few bites of a juicy apple you LITERALLY just picked yourself?(for you lucky people who don't live in the city:'(

21. Plus it’s the only time of year when riding around in a bunch of hay is socially acceptable.

22. Orange hues at sunset. No other season is delivering this brilliant shade.

23. The smell of simmering broth after a long afternoon in the chilly autumn air.

24. And at the end of the day, the crackle of a roaring fire.

25. Finding the perfect pumpkin

26. Finally, getting to wear your uggs!

27. All of the food on Thanksgiving!

How To Recreate Your Wardrobe

How To Recreate Your Wardrobe

Hey guys, it's Hanna!

Want to turn heads? Want people to double-take when you walk into the room? Recreating your wardrobe can be a lot of fun. It challenges your creative side and refreshes your outlook, and you can do it without having to break the bank.

✫ Envision a new wardrobe. Look online, through fashion magazines and observe others for certain aspects. Include layered looks and accessories as well.

✫ Understand yourself. Know what colors and styles accentuate your eyes, hair, skin tone and physique. Are you comfortable in skirts or pants?

✫ Understand your lifestyle. Are you working or at home most of the time? What will be easiest to maintain? Could you save money by layering summer clothes throughout the winter?

✫ Sort your clothes. Retain your favorite fabrics and styles. Make new clothes from discarded garments. Simple patterns are readily available. Make fabric accessories, such as a hair tie, braided belt, hat, scarf or mittens. Embellish with lace, fabric ruffles, embroidery and beads.

✫ Make a list. List all possible combinations of your present and future wardrobe. Mix and match one garment with several outfits. Wearing more than one pattern is acceptable. Keep your list handy.

✫ Go shopping. Complete your new ideas. Try two or three garments at a time.

And that's it. Hope it helps.

How To Improve Self Confidence

How To Improve Self Confidence

How To Improve Self Confidence

Hey guys, it's Hanna.

Improving self confidence is essential for success. Self assurance and trust in one's own abilities to achieve is the one trait that successful people possess that those who are less accomplished lack. Those who are self confident possess great courage and are more willing to take calculated risks in order to reach goals. Confident people share their views and opinions no matter how unpopular they may be. Confident people are trusted, respected, and often are looked to as examples.

♡ Imagine the worst case scenario. Really, what is the absolute worst that could happen. Chances are that the result of whatever undertaking you're thinking about, no matter how negative, will not affect your life all that drastically.

♡ Use the power of positive visualization. Pretend that you've already accomplished it. This is a trick that some of the most successful professional athletes have used for decades. See yourself achieving it in your mind. Imagine with great clarity and detail exactly what it will look and feel like to be accomplishing whatever particular undertaking you are striving for.

♡ Adopt confident body language. Remember to keep your chin up, literally. Stand and sit up straight. Slow down your movements a little and try to speak with a deeper, more confident voice. Relax and lean back a little bit.

♡ Remember that opportunity knocks but once. If a favorable circumstance presents itself make certain to take advantage. This moment will be gone soon enough, and possibly the opportunity, never to return.

♡ Silence internal negative talk. We all have an inner voice, and sometimes this voice can be disheartening, discouraging us from even attempting something that we truly wish to attempt. Silence this assassin of confidence. When you recognize this unnerving voice push it down. Tell it to shut up, take it's power away. You're too busy trying new things and marching toward achievement to listen to it. Let it know that it simply isn't worth your time. Over time, this voice loses it's influence and your self confidence begins to skyrocket.

♡ Surround yourself with confident people. Make a conscious effort to fill your life with confident people. This will help you to be confident.

♡ Being human you will act to fit in to your group. being surrounded by confident people you will have to be confident to fit in. Your subconscious will take charge of producing what you need to fit in with your clan.

♡ Watch confident people and copy their behavior. When you act confident you don't only seem more confident, eventually you are more confident.

♡ Make a habit of reading. Read every day. Read about different subjects, as many different subjects as you can. Reading brings knowledge and knowledge allows you to communicate with more confidence.

Hope this tip helps you guys!!
