How to Halo Braid // Raelene
How to do it ...
1) Part your hair in the middle, then separate into two sections. Secure one side while you work with the other, so they don't get mixed up.
2) Take the loose side and start at the nape of the neck, splitting it into three strands.
3) Do an 'inside-out' French braid or Dutch Braid, crossing the strands underneath each other instead of over. Work your way around the side of the head, keeping the braid fairly tight.
4) Work across the top of the forehead until you finish the braid, and secure the end with an elastic. Just let it hang until you complete the other side.
5) With the opposite side, you start at the TOP of the head, instead of the bottom. Split it into three parts and do the same inside-out braid you did before, but work around the side of the head, finishing near the nape of your neck.
6) With each braid tied with an elastic, you can secure them with Bobbi pins to keep them in place, and tuck the tails underneath the other braid to hide them. It should look like a "crown" of braids, ringing about your head. Finish with a bit of hairspray to keep it in place.

How To Stop Smoking
Hey guys, it's Hanna.
I know that there are a lot of underage girls on polyvore, and I hope that you don't have a problem with smoking. But if you do, and you would like to do something about it, keep reading.
★ Write a list of reasons to stop smoking. REAL reasons, things that worry you. for example, not "I don't want to get cancer" but "I don't want to smell like a big cigarette all day".
★ Make sum of the money you lose to buy cigarettes yearly. write a list of things you could buy with that money instead.
★ Try to stop smoking on monday. it usually is the worst day of the week. if you succeed, you'll feel so proud!
★ After you decided to stop, try to change the brand of your cigarettes. a different taste could help.
★ Don't keep cigarettes at home. if you're afraid you'll need an emergency cigarette, bring them at some friend's. the idea of having to run to your friend's house without advising him will make you desist.
★ Instead of smoking, try eating sweets. everytime you feel the need of smoking, eat a candy.
★ Distract yourself. go out for a walk, go to the cinema, do some sport etc.
★ Convince yourself you CAN'T smoke. repeat it everytime you feel the need. "I don't smoke. I CAN'T smoke. I won't smoke."
And that is all for now. Hope you find it helpful.

How To Do Autumn Makeup
Hey guys, it's Hanna.
Well it's not winter just yet, so I decided to make another autumn tip for you guys.
01. Prepare your makeup surface. Start by washing your face with facial cleanser, applying toner and then moisturizer. These are very important as they clean and freshen up your face!
02. Apply a small amount of foundation to your face. Make sure to blend down your neck and onto your ears. This way, it won't leave streaks or smudges. Try a brown foundation for the Autumn look!
03. Apply concealer to your under-eyes, the sides of your nose and any spots or blemishes. Be sure to blend in! Try a brown concealer for the Autumn look!
04. Line your eyebrows. When doing this, look carefully to see that the eyebrow pencil matches your eyebrow color. Blend in using an eyeshadow brush, not your fingers!
05. Dab your powder brush into pressed powder and apply to all areas of your face, neck and ears. This sets the makeup and gives it a long lasting finish.
06. Apply black mascara to your upper lashes, not your lower. This makes your eyes stand out more and makes you look more awake and lively.
07. Apply a neutral shade of lip gloss to your lips. This makes you look fun and exciting and ready for a good day, and gives you an Autumn effect! You will also feel happy and gorgeous!
Here are a few more tips and tricks that I like to do in fall time:
- Painting your nails either gold or beige will turn you into an Autumn model!
- Remember to remove your makeup before bed to prevent spots and other gross blemishes!
- Not necessary, but consider choosing an eyeshadow in a fall color. Some fall colors include: red, yellow, orange, and brown.
- I personally like using brown mascara in fall time, because I feel like it gives more autumn look.
- And lastly I use darker shades of lipstick. Dark red, brown-ish, darker shade of purple, nothing too bright or pink.
Hope this helps you guys!
xoxo

How To Make A Flower Crown
Hey guys, it's Hanna.
Floral crowns are super easy to make and super cute to look at. Here is how to make this fall fashion trend.
✿ Pick or buy fresh or fake flowers. The beauty of making a flower crown is that you can use any type of flower you like. Stay true to the season by picking bunches of wildflowers from the side of the road, or go to a flower shop and choose gorgeous hothouse stems. To make this simple wired crown you can pick enough flowers to circle your entire head or just the sides and front.
✿ Cut the stems to 2 inches. All the stems should be the same length, so that the finished crown will look neat with no stem ends visible.
✿ Create the wire base. You'll need a few feet of floral wire, which you can find at any craft store. Choose either green or brown, depending on your taste. To create the base, simply measure the circumference of your head with a measuring tape, then cut a length of wire twice as long. Loop it twice, then rest it on your head. Adjust as needed, and secure the wire loop with a piece of florists' tape that matches your wire.
✿ Arrange your flowers in a pattern. Lay out the wire base and place your flowers around the wire in the arrangement that you like best. You can alternate different shapes and sizes, or consider placing the largest flowers in front and tapering the smaller flowers toward the back of the crown.
✿ Attach the first flower to the taped part of the wire. Centering your first flower over the part where the wire base is taped is a convenient way to hid the seam. Attach the flower by aligning the stem with the wire base, then looping a piece of florist tape around to secure it. Make sure the flower is firmly in place before continuing.
✿ Lay the second flower next to the first one. Arrange it so that the stem of the second flower slightly overlaps the first flower, and the blooms are seated right next to each other. Don't leave a gap between the two blooms, or your crown won't look as full.
✿ Continue attaching flowers. Keep securing flowers to your crown in this same manner, working your way around the circle. Check to make sure the blooms rest against each other, and ensure there are no gaps along the way. Keep going until you've used up all of the flowers you laid out in the beginning.
✿ Try on your crown. If you see any gaps or places where you want it to look more full, gently part the flowers, insert another one and tape it in place. Tie on a long ribbon in the back for a pretty effect.
And that's it. Hope you girls try it out.

how to jazz up a plain ponytail
Hey guys it's Charlie!
So basically this is just telling you a few random ways to 'jazz up' or make a ponytail look a bit cuter. They are all really simple. So here they are...
How to: Jazz up a plain ponytail
Start by brushing out your hair and then take for small sections of hair from equal places on the top of your head. Split each section into three and braid it. After you have done this to all four sections then secure your hair into a ponytail. The ponytail can be low or high but I personally think that it looks best when it’s not super high. I’ve seen this on a girl at dancing and it seems to hold really well and I think it looks awesome.
Brush out your hair and secure it in a ponytail. It can be high or low. Take a small section of the hair from the back of the ponytail and wrap it around the hair tie. When you run out of hair or the hair tie is completely covered then secure the hair in place by using a bobby pin and pinning it into the back of the ponytail and it won’t be seen. This is super cute and it honestly takes 20 seconds if not less and it just adds a little bit extra.
Brush your hair and put it in a high ponytail. Braid the ponytail. It isn’t really a ponytail but it still has the original structure of one and I think this looks really cute and is a bit more formal then a normal ponytail.
So that's it. I hope you enjoyed this and it helps somebody!

diy bb cream
Hey guys it's Charlie
So today I have a diy. I did get this off like tumblr or something but it is just an image that it's on so unfortunately I can't credit it. This diy is for bb cream as you can probably tell by the set title. It's super easy, fast and requires only items that you probably already have.
Also if you don't know what a bb cream is, it's a mixture of like a moisturiser, sunscreen and a light coverage foundation all in one.
You will need:
Moisturiser
Foundation
Sunscreen
Step 1:
pump in 5-10 squirts of moisturiser
Step 2:
add in some sunscreen and about 2-4 pumps of foundation
It's not in the 'you will need' bit but you will also need to have a container or something of that sort that you can put the bb cream in.
Hope this is helpful!

New tip series!
Hey guy's it's Charlie!
So basically this tip series will be titled 'Charlie's review of the month and I have done, seen, read or listened to something and I will make a review and put it on here. So it could be a movie, book or music mainly. Also as suggested in the title, I will make one every month but if I decide I have something else to de one on and it's still the same month I will make that as well. So it could become more of like 'Charlie's reviews of the month. So I will make one this month later on.

How To Look Your Best
Hey guys, it's Hanna.
Looking your best means figuring out what's attractive about you and showing that side to the world. It's about highlighting the qualities that make you special, honing a sense of personal style, and putting energy into keeping yourself healthy and fit. When you look great, you feel amazing, too!
♛ Think about your favorite features. Maybe you have sunset-hued hair that cascades down your back. Maybe your eyes are a deep, coffee-brown color. Maybe you have elegant collar bones, strong, sturdy thighs or set of wide, quarterback-caliber shoulders. Whatever it is, don't be afraid to play it up! When you shop for clothes, choose your hairstyle, and pick out colors to wear, think about how you can make your favorite features stand out.
♛ Show off your hair. Hair is one of the first things people notice about each other, so looking your best means finding a style and hair care routine that makes your hair look great. No matter what your hair color, texture and length, there's a style out there that will bring out its beauty.
♛ Play up your eyes. Your eyes are an important feature to think about when you're getting ready for your day - after all, everyone you talk to is going to have the opportunity to look at them closely.
♛ Smile more often. Wearing a genuine smile will truly capture people's attention. If you tend to walk around looking solemn, you'll give people the impression you're closed off, and they'll look away. Plus, frowning creates wrinkles and doesn't give your facial features the chance to shine. Having an easy smile is a simple way to make yourself look better every day.
♛ Have beautiful posture. Improving your posture is an easy fix that will make a huge difference in your appearance right away. If you tend to hunch a little bit, make a conscious effort to stand up straight. Throw your shoulders back and keep your head erect. When you're seated, don't slouch in your chair. No matter what type of figure you have, you'll look better if your posture is upright and elegant.
♛ Wear clothes that fit. This is an important way to look your best, but it eludes a great number of people. You may aspire to fit into a size that's a little too small, or perhaps you drape yourself in fabric in order to hide something you don't particularly want to show off. Either approach to wearing clothes results in a distorted look. Put your best foot forward by choosing clothes that are the correct size for you. Believe it or not, you will look a lot better!
♛ Don't feel like you have to cover up. Do you love wearing shorts in the summer, but you're embarrassed to expose your thighs? Wear them anyway! Wear sleeveless shirts, take off the bulky sweatshirt, and put on strappy sandals when you feel like it, no matter your body shape. If you're covering yourself up when you wish you could wear something less confining, it will show in your demeanor. Unless you want to do this for personal reasons, there's no reason you can't bare as much skin as you want, no matter your size or shape.
♛ Experiment with different styles. Your style should start with what feels good to wear, be it high heels and pearls or a t-shirt and shorts. Work on figuring out what style of clothing makes you feel the most like yourself, and the most confident presenting yourself to other people. It doesn't matter what your style is; as long as its an expression of your personality, you'll be able to rock it.
♛ Find a style icon. It can really help to have good examples of the type of people wearing the clothing and hairstyles you like. Is there a celebrity or other public figure whose style is particularly attractive to you? Once you have a few people in mind, pay attention to how their wardrobes are built. What colors and fabrics do they tend to rely on? How is their clothing usually cut? What accessories do they wear most often? When you have a clear picture, you can start incorporating similar pieces into your wardrobe and trying them out for yourself.
♛ Wear colors that accent your complexion. Do you lean toward cool tones or warm tones? Do you love black and white or prefer muted earth colors? Preferences aside, knowing what looks great with your particular complexion can help you look more beautiful. As a general rule, try to choose colors that don't exactly match your skin - contrast is good!
♛ Don't be afraid to stand out from the crowd. It's also OK to throw style rules out the window and just wear whatever you want - as long as you feel comfortable in it. Maybe you've heard that tall people shouldn't wear high heels - so what? If you like them, wear them. Or on the other end of the spectrum, it's commonly said that shorter people shouldn't wear maxi skirts - but if you have a gorgeous one in your closet, you'd better not let it languish there! What matters when it comes to style is your confidence. If that's there, heads will turn as you pass by, and people will want to know your secret.
♛ Use accessories to add interest to your outfits. Sunglasses, jewelry, watches, bags, and other accessories can add just the right touch to an outfit. They help you look more put together, which is an important part of looking your best. After getting dressed, decide how to complete your look.
♛ Have the right outfit for different occasions. Part of looking your best is looking the part - and that means putting a little forethought into your outfits. While there's nothing wrong with standing out, you should do it in a way that also allows you to fit in. Don't wear something so out of place that people are distracted by your outfit instead of seeing the person wearing it.
♛ Take care of your skin. No matter what you're wearing, if your skin looks dull and dry you won't be showing the world your best self. Have a skin care routine that makes you look fresh, healthy and vibrant from head to toe.
♛ Trim your nails and maintain body hair. These two simple grooming habits will help you look clean and fresh, even if you're not wearing anything particularly special.
♛ Eat nutritious food. For a healthy body shape and vibrant hair and skin, it's important to eat plenty of vitamins every single day.
♛ Drink lots of water. If you feel tired, dull, and a little lifeless, perk yourself up by drinking water. Lots of it. It will have a huge impact on the appearance of your hair and skin, as well as giving you more energy - which, in turn, will also help you look your best.
♛ Stop smoking. Using tobacco products is a sure way to age your skin and hair, and that won't help you look your best. Start taking steps to quit smoking and using other tobacco products as soon as you can.
♛ Find an exercise you love. Getting your blood flowing and strengthening your muscles will help you look your very best. Your skin will have a healthy flush, your posture will improve, and your arms, legs and torso will look more shapely. If you don't already exercise, it's never too late to start.
♛ Take good care of yourself. Part of looking your best is being aware of your body's needs and making time to meet them. When you're feeling run down and stressed, your body suffers, and it shows. It's important to learn how to take care of yourself well. You'll know you're doing it right when you look in the mirror and see that healthy, happy glow.
And that's it. Hope you like it and I hope it helps!
xoxo

My morning routine for school!
Hey guys it's Charlie!
This is my morning routine for school in spring!
1. My alarm goes off at 6:10 and I snooze it until I wake up at 6:50.
2. I get changed.
3. I head into the bathroom and brush my teeth, wash my face then put on moisturiser and sunscreen.
4. I go into my room to do my makeup. When I go to school I only wear mascara and sometimes I wear concealer.
5. I do my hair. This is usually taking out a french braid from the previous night and wearing it down or putting it into a ponytail.
6. I go down stairs to make lunch and eat breakfast.
7. I go back to my room and pack my back for the day according on the subjects that I have.
8. I leave the house at 7:35 to walk to the bus stop and go to school.
So that's pretty much it. It does vary depending on the day and sometimes I wake up earlier/later which means that it's a bit different.
I hope you enjoyed it!

Hair Tips
Hey girls, it's Hanna!
In this tip I will give you a few hair tips. I myself also do some of these stuff.
✳ Squeeze-dry your hair
Prevent frizz by using a paper towel to gently wring water from your strands. The paper won't create as much friction as a towel, so your hair ends up less frizzy, it also absorbs more water than a cloth towel, also really speeding up your drying time.
✳ Turn up the heat on volumizing styles
Many volume-enhancing products are heat activated. So scrunching or combing them in, then letting your hair air-dry will not make the most of their lifting effects. A better bet (even if you don't blow-dry your whole head) is to aim warm air at your roots, activat-ing the stylers and giving your hair the oomph you desire.
✳ Avocado Hair mask:
Combine two egg whites with half of a mashed-up-avocado; leave it in hair for 15 minutes, then wash and conditio. it's inexpensive and fast natural remedy that leaves your beautiful hair super-smooth.
✳ Avoid brushing your hair while it's wet.
Wet hair has a tendency to break and its stretchier. Also DO NOT brush your hair too much. There is a saying that if you brush your hair 100 strokes it will make your hair beautiful smoothe, but it will only cause breakage to your hair.
✳ Give your hair some special treatment from time to time.
Apply a deep conditioning treatment or you can use treatments like olive oil, argan oil, avocado oil and coconut oil. Also you can purchase some hair masks at your drug store.
✳ Put beautiful accessorizes in your hair.
And that's it for this tip! Hope it helps.
xoxo

Beauty Tips
Hey guys, it's Hanna!
Today's tip is all about beauty. Keep on reading to learn more!
♛ Eye Cream Is Great For Cuticles
Instead of spending money on cuticle cream, you can use extra-moisturizing and hydrating eye cream to cure dry cuticles.
♛ Stop Your Hair Colour From Fading
If you've just had your hair dyed, the last thing you want is for the color to fade. One surefire way to prevent such a mishap from happening? Use a deep-conditioning treatment once a month. This will help lock in color and has the added benefit of staving off dry and damaged locks.
♛ Nix Flaky Mascara
One of the main reasons mascara will flake onto your face after you apply it is because it's old. Opt for a new container and always remember to keep your mascara tube tightly sealed.
♛ Banish Oil
The fastest way to clear your skin of any oily breakout, especially in the summer, is to use blotting papers. They'll clean up the excess oil on your epidermis and will prevent breakouts.
♛ If You Have Greasy Hair...
Avoid applying conditioner directly to your hair's roots -- just apply the heavy moisturizing cream to your locks' ends.
♛ Soften Skin
Immediately after stepping out of a shower, pool or lake/ocean, apply some sort of cream to skin. Water washes away the skin's natural oils and applying moisture cream will prevent skin chapping.
♛ Cut Back On Pedicures
Save money on your beauty routine by taking care of your feet on a daily basis. Simply scrub your foot with a pumice stone each morning in the shower. Once you step out and dry off, apply a moisture cream to your feet. This will increase the amount of time you can go without a pedicure and will keep your toes healthy and fungus-free.
♛ Apply Mascara To Fake Lashes
This will help fake lashes blend in a bit more seamlessly with your natural ones.
♛ Lock It In
When using cream-based beauty products -- like lipstick or foundation -- apply a dry face powder on top to seal in your look. This also works for blush (apply a cream blush to cheeks, then top with a dry blush).
♛ Change It Up
Our skin craves different things depending on the time of year. So change up your beauty routine based on the seasons. In the winter, add more moisturizing creams to your daily beauty list. In summer, ensure you're using lots of SPF.
♛ Brush hair from roots to ends nightly. This distributes natural oils throughout the shaft and gives hair a healthy sheen.
♛ Camouflage roots by zigzagging your part rather than making it straight.
♛ Doing your color yourself? Don’t make too drastic a change. Stay within one or two shades of your natural color.
♛ Give Hair Lift
Before you start blow drying your hair, add a volumizing spray to your roots. This will give your locks some added lift.
♛ Dry Out Pimples
Believe it or not, dabbing toothpaste onto a pimple is a quick and easy way to dry it out.
♛ Add Oomph To Cheekbones
To make your cheekbones appear higher and to give them more structure, apply bronzer directly under the cheekbone. You can also add highlighter to the cheekbone itself (under a thin layer of blush).
Hope this helps! And leave a comment below if you have any more beauty related questions.

Creating a French Lace Braid
Hey guys, Hanna again!
So my last set was requested by one of our dear followers and it inspired me to make this set as well!
Here is how to make a French lace braid:
✿ Prep your hair. Make sure that your locks are smooth and have no rats or tangles in them. A French lace braid will be done down either one or both sides of your head, so your hair must be parted. You can use a center or side part depending on what look you prefer.
✿ Start with a small section. Grab a piece of your hair near your part, around one inch thick. You can alter the size of this strand to your liking, as the starting strand does determine the overall size of the braid. For a larger braid, you can use a hefty section of hair. If you want a dainty braid, take a smaller piece.
✿ Split your section into thirds. As with the aforementioned French braiding directions, divide your section into three even pieces. Your strands of hair should be facing downwards framing your face, rather than being pulled back towards the back of your head.
✿ Begin braiding. Take your three sections of hair and start a traditional braid by bringing the right strand over the center piece, and then the left strand over the center piece. As you braid, begin incorporating more hair into the braid. However, unlike a regular French braid, only add strands of hair to one side of your braid.
✿ You can choose to take small sections from above, and then incorporate those sections in with the strands of braid being taken from the same side (the top part of the braid only).
✿ If you have three strands, this means you will only incorporate hair into the braid when the left strand is being crossed over the center. The opposite could also occur, in which you only incorporate hair with the right strands as they are crossed over the center.
✿ Only adding strands of hair to a single side of your braid makes it one-sided. This is why it must be done down the side of your head, rather than over the top and down the center.
✿ Continue braiding around your head. As you move further and further along with your braid, it will begin to form a crown or halo shape around your head. You can choose to go braid over the top of your ear, or under it.
✿ If you are doing a single braid, you will have to wrap it all the way around your head until you run out of hair likely near the ear opposite to where you started.
✿ If you wanted to create two braids for this, then when you get the center of the nape of your neck, tie off your first braid with an elastic and then use the same process to create the second braid.
✿ Finish your braid. Eventually, you will run out of hair to incorporate. At this point, continue braiding your hair with a traditional braid until you reach the ends of your strands. Tie off your hair with a ponytail to secure your French lace braid.
Enjoy your new hair style!

How To French Braid
Hey guys, it's Hanna!
Today's tip was requested by @elovia-co and I'm happy to help!
The French braid is a beautiful and classic hairstyle. Although its intricate weave may appear complicated, creating your own French braid is a simple process. Once you've gotten the basics of a traditional braid down, try a French or French lace braid on for size.
✿ Prep your hair. Make sure that it is thoroughly brushed to remove all tangles and is soft ,If you would like to have a single braid going down the center of your head, then all your hair should be brushed backwards away from your forehead.
✿ If you want to have your braid going to the side or you would like multiple braids, then part your hair and brush it into sections.
✿ You can braid your hair dry or wet. If you braid it wet and allow it to dry with the braid, your hair will have soft, pretty waves when you take it apart.
✿ Section your hair. Take a large chunk of hair from the top center of your head. The section of hair should be about 3-4 inches wide, and come from the same row of hair - not with some pieces from higher up or lower down.
✿ If you have bangs, you can choose to braid them into your hair by starting your braid at the very top and center part of your head, directly above your forehead. You also have the option of separating them out before beginning your braid.
✿ The section you begin with is not indicative of the size of the braid you will end up with. You start with a small section, but through adding hair the braid will gradually increase in size.
✿ Separate the section into strands. For a French braid, the same as a regular braid, you will need three strands. Separate them by running your fingers through the chunk you are holding, and create three even strands. Make sure that none of the pieces is significantly larger or smaller than the other two.
✿ Begin to braid. Take your three sections so that two strands are held in one hand, and the third strand is held in your opposite hand. Create a few rows of a regular braid by taking the strand on the right and crossing it over the center. Then take the strand from the left and cross it over the center.
✿ Incorporate in new hair. Continue this pattern of crossing strands diagonally over the center strand, but gradually begin incorporating other pieces of hair. Before you cross a strand over to the other side, grab another strand of hair from the loose pieces on the same side and include it in the cross-over.
✿ Every time you cross over, grab another small piece of hair. It doesn’t matter the thickness of the new strands you pick up, but the smaller the pieces the more intricate the braid will look.
✿ Pick up pieces from the front of your head near your face and neck for the best looking French braid. If you only pick up pieces from the center near the main strand, then they will get covered up later with strands from the outside.
✿ Incorporate all of your hair into the braid. As you continue down your head, you will slowly notice the free-hanging strands of hair diminishing. By the time you reach the nape of your neck with the main braid, all of your extra hair should have been drawn into the braid.
✿ Finish the braid. When you have added in all your hair into the braid, continue it as a regular braid until you reach the ends of your strands. Then, secure the braid with a ponytail. Avoid using rubber bands, as these rip and break hair when you remove them.
And this is how to make a French braid. Hope you like it and I hope it helps!
