☼ Clothing plays a very important role in expressing who you are. What you wear can affect your life dramatically, since clothes are one of the main things determines the first impression you make on people. Figuring out what type of style you have is more important than it may see.

☼ For this part of the makeover, you need to figure out what style truly says the most about YOU. After you know what you like and what you want, go shopping! Try things on and assemble outfits the NEW you will love wearing and feel comfortable in.

Here's a list of "styles" you might want to try out. It's also nice to have clothes of different styles so you can match your clothing to your mood.

« Preppy [blazers, polos, oxfords, straight leg pants and jeans]
« Girly [dresses, bows, florals, soft colors]
« Indie/Bohemian [plaids, sweaters, ankle boots, darker subtle colors]
« Vintage [high waisted shorts, older styles of sunglasses, leather jackets]
« Tomboy [Athletic wear, jeans, sneakers]

☼ Obviously, there are lots more styles and types of clothing out there! You just have to find what you feel comfortable in! Use magazines, mannequins, friend's opinions, and even Polyvore if you aren't the greatest and putting outfits together.

☼ Sometimes when you are giving yourself a makeover, you all want to change your looks in general. The goal is to be able to look in the mirror and feel truly beautiful. Sometimes for this to happen, you have to try new things.

☼ HAIR is really important to a lot of girls. Learn how to do some cool hairstyles that you like. Maybe try a new type of braid, try teasing your hair, or straightening/curling it. If you really want a new look and are brave enough, cut or dye your hair. Ask a hair stylist what hairstyles would look good with your face shape and what colors would compliment you eyes, skin tone, etc.

☼ Try some new MAKEUP looks. Google tutorials, read reviews, buy some new products, and experiment! If you have never really worn makeup on a regular basis before, I suggest trying to get into a daily routine of applying some light makeup. For example, use mascara, BB cream, eyeliner, and lip gloss each morning. You'll have a new, fresh look that works anytime and never gets old!

☼ FEEL GOOD. To feel refreshed and truly made over, get into the habit of cleansing, moisturizing, and exfoliating your skin.

☼ I think this is definitely one of the most important parts of a makeover. Looks aren't going to make a difference if you don't feel good on the inside. Decide if you need to change your attitude entirely, be more self-confident, or just need to try and be happier in general!

☼ If you had been mean to other people before, bullied someone, or done anything to hurt someone else before, apologize! Give them a gift, take them out for a spa day, doing something to show that you're sorry and want to change.

☼ Radiate confidence! Walk with your head up, and let people know that you've given yourself a makeover! Talk to new people and old friends, and let the get to know the new you! Be confident should be easier if your makeover is a success. You'll feel better and happier with yourself in general!

That is pretty much it and I hope you guys found it helpful! Comment bellow if I forgot something.

xoxo
