How To Get Yourself Into The Christmas Spirit

How To Get Yourself Into The Christmas Spirit

Hey guys, Hanna here!

And today is Christmas!! Are you excited? I know I am. In case you aren't feeling christmasy this year, this tip will help you get into the Christmas spirit!

❄ Play Christmas music in the background while you prepare for Christmas. Great songs such as "White Christmas" by Bing Crosby, "O Holy Night" by Josh Groban and "Believe" by Josh Groban are great examples, and they will help you lift your spirit.

❄ Make a batch of Christmas cookies. Make sugar cookies, and decorate with frosting, sprinkles, etc. They'll smell wonderful while baking and are sure to bring out the Christmas fun.

❄ Hang up Christmas ornaments. When you focus on the ornaments, and just on getting it done, it's not fun. But when you have fun, dance with the Christmas music, put a garland up, put little trinkets of Santa Claus, angels and whatnot. You will see, you will have fun.

❄ Get out of the house. Go to special stores like Macy's and Target and shop in the Christmas aisles, and have fun picking out what stuff you could possibly need. When you see other spirit around you, you're more likely to have that special feeling once again.

❄ Learn a Christmas song, one that you've never heard before, or one that is your favorite. Print it off the internet and sing the verses quietly to yourself at work, or at the store.

❄ Put up your tree early. It doesn't matter if you put it up after you read this article, or in a few days, just get it up early. That way, you can decorate the tree and have fun with it, expressing your creativity and feeling like your really into the spirit.

❄ Give a gift, it doesn't matter to who. But take time with the gift, wrap it, and make your own card, add a special poem.

❄ Spend time with family and friends. This probably is the most important way to feeling happy. Make some cookies, and invite a few over, and watch a Christmas movie such as "White Christmas".

❄ Have reasonable expectations of the Christmas season. If you expect too much, you may feel disappointed. Instead, expect things to be low key and easy and you'll feel a lot calmer and happier about the season, being able to enjoy the experience more.

❄ Be jolly. Laugh more, see the funny side of things, even more so when things don't go to plan. Be genuine in your mirth; forcing jolly feelings will feel artificial. That might just mean watching something that makes you laugh for real or taking time out to watch a frolicking puppy or your children at play.

And most importantly just enjoy the holidays! Hope you like this tip.

How to deal with... Depression

How to deal with... Depression

Hi guys! It's Tijana with another HTDW tip. This one is very important because a lot of teens deal with depression at a very young age. Depression can be very dangerous and many people around the world suffer from it. In this tip, you'll see how to deal with it easier and live a happy life!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Say that you want a change
Saying this is the first part of success! Just say it out loud - I want a change! This will make you stronger! Follow the other steps and you will become happier and you'll understand who you are.
2. When something bad happens count to 10
You are depressed because other students don't treat you right? When they make an insult - count to 10 and breathe. Let it go! Just tell yourself that you're a strong, beautiful person and you'll feel better!
3. Talk with your parents about it
Your parents are the people who made you. Even though you don't see it now, they want to help you and they won't judge you. Talk with them about the problems you have, and find a solution together. You will feel great and your parents will believe that you're a more mature person.
4. Think about everything
While you're depressed, everything seems horrible, bad and you feel like you can't escape from that horror. What you need to do is to find some time to think about everything and realize that there is a reason to smile very day. Try to listen to your heart.
5. Motivate yourself
If you don't love yourself, and support yourself, no one else will. You are perfect just the way you are, and you just need to show it to everybody! But first to yourself! Write a lot of positive thoughts on some small paper pieces and put them in a box. Every time you're feeling bad, just get one of the notes, and you will feel happy!
6. Try hard to deal with your depression
This is very important ! Trying hard is the key of making a change. Do at least one thing every day that can make a change. And no matter what you do, say that you live yourself!
7. Ask an expert for help
There has to be a psychologist at your school that will have the time to help you! Those people know how to help you deal with depression the right way, especially if your depression is very bad. (I want to be a psychologist when I grow up, so I will be very happy if you comment saying did I help you!)
That's all! I hope you liked it! Stay strong beautiful, there's a great life waiting for you! To see the rainbow, you have to deal with the rain!
Lots of love,
Tijana
How To Survive A Cold Winter
How To Survive A Cold Winter
Hey guys, it's Hanna.
And it's cold. Here are a few tips on how to survive.
☃ Prepare your home and your car for the winter. Make sure you stay warm at home and that your car is ready to weather extreme temperatures.
☃ Adjust your wardrobe. For sleeping attire; get out your “long johns” and flannel pajamas. Keep a robe handy to your bed for use when you get up. Put your flip-flops in the closet and get out some slippers with a sole and a warm lining. Wear heavier socks. Winter months mean storing your T-shirts and shorts away and switching to sweats, lightweight but warm sweaters with long sleeves. (Keep a couple of those T-shirts on hand to wear as an undergarment.) Invest in thermal undergarments.
☃ Eat right. A hot breakfast versus cereal with cold milk can make a big difference. Oatmeal, eggs and toast, pancakes or waffles or even a bowl of soup will take you farther. (Sprinkle some freshly made popcorn over a bowl of tomato soup for breakfast or lunch. It’s a treat that will help keep you warm.) Keep your carb’s up. Hot pasta dishes, a stove-top stew of potatoes and chunky vegetables are great tummy warmers. (Afraid of added weight? Your body will burn those carb calories keeping you warm. Or get out there and move some snow; it’s great exercise.)
☃ Add another blanket to the bed. Down-filled bedding is pricey, but well worth the investment. Consider flannel sheets and/or a quilt.
☃ Don't forget your pets! They will need food and water and warmth, too.
☃ When removing ice that has formed on your windows, use your vehicle’s defrost unit for a few minutes. This will help loosen the ice, making it easier to scrape with a plastic scraper. Do NOT pour water or run the garden hose over the frozen window.
☃ Keep candles and/or oil lamps a safe distance from flammable materials such as drapery, furniture and bedding. Extinguish all candles and lamps before you plan for sleep. Not doing so is very dangerous.
And this is just a quick tip on how to survive a clod winter. Hope you like it.
How to Halo Braid // Raelene
How to Halo Braid // Raelene
How to do it ...
1) Part your hair in the middle, then separate into two sections. Secure one side while you work with the other, so they don't get mixed up.
2) Take the loose side and start at the nape of the neck, splitting it into three strands.
3) Do an 'inside-out' French braid or Dutch Braid, crossing the strands underneath each other instead of over. Work your way around the side of the head, keeping the braid fairly tight.
4) Work across the top of the forehead until you finish the braid, and secure the end with an elastic. Just let it hang until you complete the other side.
5) With the opposite side, you start at the TOP of the head, instead of the bottom. Split it into three parts and do the same inside-out braid you did before, but work around the side of the head, finishing near the nape of your neck.
6) With each braid tied with an elastic, you can secure them with Bobbi pins to keep them in place, and tuck the tails underneath the other braid to hide them. It should look like a "crown" of braids, ringing about your head. Finish with a bit of hairspray to keep it in place.
How To Deal With... Bad grades
How To Deal With... Bad grades
Hi guys! It's Tijana! If you haven't noticed yet, I had to take about a week of brake from tipping, because school was going crazy and I went on a school trip too, so... yeah. I didn't make a HTDW tip in a long time, and I know it's not Monday, but I wanted to make it, so I hope it will help :) Let's go!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

O1: Don't stress too much
If you have bad grades, just say to yourself that it's the way it is and that you can't cry about it now. What you need to do is to calm down, write a page of positive things in your life (or things that make you smile) and you'll feel better.

O2: Make a study plan
I know that I said this a 100 times, but I'll say it again - Make a study plan! This will help you stay organized and you'll be able to plan your free time a lot easier.

O3: Motivate yourself
Most people work better when they have a goal. Like on example, you want to study math, so you say that after you're done, you'll eat some chocolate. That way, your brain works harder and it makes you achieve something faster.

O4: Take responsibility
You got a bad grade at your biology test? Don't blame your teachers, parents, people who made the biology books you use... Take responsibility for your bad grade and use that as a lesson for the future.

O5: Ask for help
Don't be scared to ask someone to help you with a subject! Maybe that person will explain things on a different way and you will improve your knowledge. Ask a friend to help you - even studying is better when you're not alone.

O6: Change your habbits
The bad ones (of course)! Maybe your habbit is watching TV after school. It sounds crazy, but that won't help you get better grades! There's not much time left until the holidays, so you need to study a lot harder! Trust me, it will make you feel good later.

O7: Don't be hard on yourself
Having bad grades isn't someting that makes you a bad person! You just didn't work hard enough, but it will be okay soon! You are a beautiful young person that has a lot to learn about life! Relax, everything will be fine.

That's all! I hope you liked this tip, and if you did, don't forget to follow our account, like and comment!

Lots of love,
Tijana

My Fitness Routine/Staying Fit In Winter // Charlie

My Fitness Routine/Staying Fit In Winter // Charlie

Hey guys it's Charlie!
Sorry it has been so long since my last tip! I have been super busy recently and so have been very inactive on polyvore. But here is a TIP!
So basically this is my everyday work out routine. I got the idea from an Aspyn Ovard YouTube video. Here is that link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOntgm3rExI&list=UUR1EMxu9anmg7DhJBxNUbsA
Also I got my main layout of my routine from pintrest so credit to the person who originally pinned this.
Here it is:

Warm up and stretch for 5-10 minutes
50 Jumping Jacks
25 Leg Lifts
25 Crunches
25 Tricep Dips
50 Squats
25 Lunges (each leg)
50 Bicycle Crunches
25 Wall Pushups
50 Russian Twists
Repeat
Stretch to cool down 2-6 minutes

So that's all. I'm hoping to start to do some running also before I do this as a kind of warm up but at the moment I'm being lazy and so far have not done that. Also this routine is not set in stone. If you want to try this then feel free to mix it up, change it, do swap outs and alter it to fit what you can/can't do and what you like to do. If you want something to follow along for so you know how much time that it's going to take and things like that then a really good person to watch would be https://www.youtube.com/user/blogilates she's super cool and posts a lot so you can always have something new to do. Some of the things she does are awesome. She has a beach series and a Victoria's Secret model series and things which are all really cool so you should all definitely check her videos out. Another thing that's fun to do to get yourself in the spirit of working out and exercising is to make a playlist with lots of songs that aren't slow and stuff. Pick songs that will make you motivated. I like to listen to some remixes as they are all usually quite fast .
That's all for today. Hope you guys enjoyed this and that it helps some of you!

How To Dress Warmly In Winter

How To Dress Warmly In Winter

Hey guys, it's Hanna!

It's cold outside, so bring out your sweaters and cardigans, if you haven't done that yet.

❅ Layer! Layering is always an excellent idea to beat the coolness in your town. Try a regular shirt with a sweater and a jacket or running pants under jeans. Two pairs of socks and heavy built shoes help as well.

❅ With rain, snow, and ice, don't wear any type of athletic shorts or yoga pants. Some shoe choices are also a no. Avoid flats or canvas type shoes. Dresses or skirts unless paired with warm tights or stockings would be a bad idea for the winter.

❅ Warm fabrics. Some warm fabrics are wool, fur, heavy cotton, and leather. You can find adorable ways to be nice and toasty.

❅ Keep your head warm. You lose most of your body heat through your head. Your body will let your brain get cold last, so all of your heat from your hands and feet will be transferred to your head, where it will be lost. Wear a hat and use your coat's hood if you have one, and your limbs will stay warm too.

❅ Prioritise. First keep warm your torso, then your head, next your feet, fourth your neck, fifth your hands and lastly your legs.

❅ Regulate your body heat. If you feel too warm, take off or unfasten a layer. Being too warm leads to sweating, sweating means you get wet, and being wet means getting cold later.

❅ Plan ahead. Know what you are going to wear so that you can be organised rather than just throwing on lots of unsuitable stuff and being too cold.

Hope it helps you guys!

xoxo

How To Catch A Snowflake In Your Mouth

How To Catch A Snowflake In Your Mouth

Hey guys, it's Hanna.

If you have snow in your country this tip will be perfect for you. One of the fun things to do during the snowy season is to catch snowflakes in your mouth.

❅ Spot a nice sized snowflake and focus on it. Stay focused on one until it's in your mouth and you can go after another.

❅ Open your mouth as wide as it can go, without dislocating your jaw.

❅ Don't close your mouth. If you do you will probably end up losing your train of thought and besides, you know what's going to happen, the snowflake is going to melt in your mouth.

❅ Then keep your tongue out and watch it melt!

❅ Snowflakes will go all over the place so be prepared to step around a little bit to catch them, it's not going to kill you if you miss one so don't count on getting every one you focus on.

❅ There are tons of snowflakes falling so there is an endless opportunity.

And that's it. Hope you like it!

How To Get Ready For A Winter Vacation

How To Get Ready For A Winter Vacation

Hi guys, it's Tijana :D And if you're like me, or any normal human, you are very happy because holidays are coming very very soon! Yayyy! And most of you are going on a winter vacation, even if it's in a town next to yours. That's why I'm making this tip, and I hope it will be helpful!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
O1: PACKING
Of course, you need to pack everything that you need! But we all get carried away, and pack 30 things that we won't even use! That's why I'm here to help you and show you some important things that you need to bring on a winter vacation!
Clothes:
~ a winter coat or a winter jacket
~ jeans
~ thick leggings
~ leg warmers
~ warm tights
~ long sleeved shirts
~ sweaters
~ hoodies
~ sweat pants
~ pajamas
~ snow boots
~ rain boots
~ slippers
~ undies (of course)
Accessories:
~ a warm beanie
~ a scarf
~ gloves
~ a backpack
~ a purse
~ jewelry
~ hair ties
Other Things:
~ your phone
~ your phone charger
~ earphones
~ band aids
~ pads
~ books and magazines (to read while you're traveling)
~ a water bottle
~ tissues
O2: HEALTH
This is very important! When you go on a vacation, you need to be healthy! That's why i recommend that you watch out what you're wearing, what you're eating, etc. If you still get a cold or something, make sure to bring all the medicines you need to the vacation.
O3: PLANING YOUR VACATION
This is something you have to do! And if you're going with your parents, make sure to ask them about their ideas, too. Take a journal, or just a piece of paper, and make a plan for every day. Search the tourist attractions in that place (if you're going for the first time), and plan when you are going to go there. Making a plan looks a bit boring, I know, but when you go there you'll be glad you made it!
O4: DON'T FORGET THAT...
Here are some things you have to remember when you are going on a winter vacation:
~ It will probably be cold there!
~ You can never prepare too much warm clothes!
~ You have to keep your things on a safe place, because there are people who want to steal them!
~ Your parents will do 'silly things' and make you mad, but don't waste the time you have on the vacation!
~ Don't go anywhere without your phone, and keep it somewhere safe!
That's all for today, guys! I hope you liked the tip and that it will be helpful!
Lots of love,
Tijana
How To Feel Happy During A Cold Winter
How To Feel Happy During A Cold Winter
Hey guys, it's Hanna.
Have you ever noticed how bad weather seems to drag the spirit down with it? There's nothing you can do about the weather, but there are various things you can do to keep your spirits up until spring.
❅ Find things to enjoy about winter. A snowy, icy, cold, or rainy world can be beautiful and often has sounds and smells all its own. If you're an artist, photographer, or craftsperson, winter provides a great deal of inspiration and different colors to work with. Even if you don't feel that creative, simply watching a winter scene from the comfort of your home can be a pleasant way to relax and enjoy the peace.
❅ Take part in winter activities. Enjoy skiing, sledding, or ice skating. Visit someplace nearby while the summer crowds are gone.
❅ Stay warm. Whether that means sitting by the fire, snuggling up with a loved one or pet, piling on the blankets, or having a warm drink, keep yourself warm. The best way to stay warm all the time is to wear layers of suitable clothes, especially woolen long-johns, undershirts, and sweaters. And don't neglect your feet – woolen socks and slippers are a must-have for keeping you toasty warm all winter.
❅ Find something to do besides stew about the weather. This would be a great time to read that book that's been on your list—or even write it. Play cards, clean the house, cook up a big pot of soup, take up a hobby, or knit another warm sweater. It's also a good time to sort photos, computer files, fabric stashes, and anything else that has accumulated over the other months of the year.
❅ Brighten up. Winter comes with the shortest days and lowest light of the year. Go out if you can. If you can't, or if you're so far from the equator as to have little or no daylight, use full-spectrum lights, light or white walls, and perhaps some vibrant accent colors.
❅ Stay active. As much as possible, get yourself outside. Bundle up and take at least a short walk. If the weather does not permit, move around inside. Walk up and down your stairs if you have them. Do a workout tape or use that treadmill or stair machine that is gathering dust. Exercise gets your body temperature up and your blood flowing. It also regulates such things as sleep and diet. Move around at least a bit each day.
❅ Browse seed catalogs and plan your garden. There's nothing quite as promising as the idea that spring is around the corner. You could even start some plants indoors under artificial light.
❅ Keep in touch. Call friends or make new ones. If you regularly attend club meetings, church, or other activities, try not to interrupt your routine just for bad weather. If transportation is a challenge for you, link up with friends or helpful people who can give you a ride to and from your usual activities.
❅ Remember that, without winter, no one would appreciate and love the summer so much.
Hope you like this tip!
xoxo
How To Enjoy Winter
How To Enjoy Winter
Hey guys, it's Hanna.
Here are a little tips on how to enjoy winter. The most important ones are to be happy and enjoy it!
☃ Make your house healthy. You'll be spending a lot more time indoors during winter, so it's important that your house is healthy and as warm as you can make it.
☃ Make your home cozy and welcoming. A home that feels inviting will cheer you up constantly. Keeping your home comfortable and neat is important and there are a few things you can do to brighten up the place.
☃ Fill your house with laughter. Have friends over for dinner parties, TV nights or for a cup of hot chocolate together. Watch your favorite comedian on YouTube, the box or on DVD. Turn the news channels off, as winter is prime time for depressing and tragic news stories. Watch lighthearted, funny shows, such as Friends, or watch a comedy movie. If you're reading a magazine or newspaper, and you see the headline of a tragic story, skip it and try to find an inspirational article with a happy ending instead.
☃ Buy, borrow or haggle for something to cheer you up. You don't have to spend a fortune––perhaps a new pair of jeans, a scrapbook, a song you've been wanting to download for a while. Or visit a thrift shop or check out the offerings on Freecycle.
☃ Make something to cheer yourself up. Think about how you might turn someone else's junk into your treasure––borrow a library book on recycled craft and let your imagination run wild. Get out the dusty sewing machine and start stitching up a storm; or, get into knitting, crochet, hammering, modeling or photography. Crafts and hobbies provide ample opportunities to spend your wintry days profitably.
☃ Eat well. Comfort food is lovely in winter––just make sure you don't eat too much of anything stodgy or calorie-laden. Eat everything in moderation. Things like fries, hot chocolate, and popcorn are fine to have now and then, provided you're sticking to a balanced diet. Eat warm satisfying food.
☃ Exercise and keep moving. Staying active and keeping fit will make you healthier and leave you feeling more content with life. While it's cold outside, movement is your best bet for staying warm, so stop making excuses and start moving instead. Go for winter walks with a friend, enjoy the scenery. It's especially pretty if it's snowy or icy outside (just tread with care).
☃ Relax and reflect. Winter is a time for reflection, rest and the release of pent-up stress. Relaxation will allow you to stand back from what you've been doing during the year and take stock. Consider whether you want to keep going in the same direction for the following year or if you'd like to make changes. Write down your thoughts and desires in a journal and perhaps map out any desired changes for the times ahead.
☃ Study. Use winter as the time for learning new things. Whatever your age, winter provides the ideal opportunity to get stuck into learning and with many online courses freely available, there is no excuse for being unable to find something of interest.
☃ Get enough sleep. Winter days are short, with long nights. This, along with the cold weather can make us tired and lethargic. Get at least eight hours a night of good quality sleep.
And these are my tips. Hope you like them!
xoxo
How to deal with: Your annoying twin
How to deal with: Your annoying twin
Hi everyone, it's Tijana! So today is How To Deal With... Monday and I am making a tip that was requested by @tips-icons-and-pinkbows ! I hope you like it :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

1. Talk to her
Maybe she is stealing your friends, maybe she is copying your style, but whatever it is there is a reason for it! Talk to her about that, say what's on your mind, but don't take it too far by saying that she ruined your life or something like that. Still, if she's just doing something silly like hiding your clothes, just say that it bothers you, and take it as a joke. She will understand, and you will both laugh.

2. Don't tell your parents everything that she does
You saw your sister talking on her phone, even though your parents said that she can't use it for a week? So what? 'Close your eyes' and don't just run to your mom or dad saying that she broke the rules! Support her and she will do that for you too. That will strengthen your relationship!

3. Make jokes
By this I don't mean - make jokes about her or her friends! I mean - make every bad situation into a joke. On example, your twin is mad at you, and she throws a pillow at you. Listen to the rule no. 2, and then get your pillow and scream: 'pillow fight!'
It will make the both of you laugh and forget about the argument.

4. Get some 'sister time'
This is a great way to meet your twin sister even better and to talk about everything that's happening. You can watch a movie together at home while you're sitting in your pajamas and eating popcorn; you can go shopping and stop by for a cup of hot chocolate, or anything that the both of you love. You will have fun, and forget about how much 'you hate each other'.

5. Do fun things with the rest of your family
This is very enjoyable and fun. You can bond with your twin and your parents! A good idea is to play board games and be in a team with your sister. That will unite you! If you think that your family is too busy to play board games or even watch a movie together, talk with your parents about the family time that you will spend once a week, maybe on Sundays.

 This doesn't have to be for twins, it can be for older and younger sisters too! I hope you liked the tip, and that it will help you :D

Lots of love,
Tijana

How To Have Fun In Wunter

How To Have Fun In Wunter

Hey guys, Hanna here.

Winter is here, so let's have some fun, shall we?

❅ Stay healthy! Winter temperatures can get below freezing (32 F/0 C), so it's very important that you are physically ready for the season before starting the fun. Go through your closet and make sure you have at least one pair of gloves, a hat or earmuffs, scarves, snow boots, and a winter coat. Make sure you have plenty of long pants, sweater/sweatshirts, and long sleeved shirts. Many stores will have a winter clothes items sale, so take this as an opportunity to get some nice new winter clothes.

❅ Play in the snow. If it's winter time, there's a good chance that you'll be seeing flurry snowflakes outside your window. Instead of staring at it inside, why not get out there and play in it? Get a friend or two and go to a wide, open area outside with tons of snow. Try making cool creations in the snow. Make a snowman, a snow angel, or a snow fort. Or, think up your own ideas, like a snow dog or snow people! Play your favorite winter sport, likesnowboarding, skiing, sledding, or ice skating. When sledding, find a great big hill to ride down.

❅ Make some fun winter food and drinks.

❅ Sit by the fire.

❅ Host a winter party.

❅ Celebrate winter holidays.

❅ Make paper snowflakes.

❅ Add marshmallows, whipped cream, or bits of candy cane to your hot chocolate.

❅ Get a parent or friend to take a video of your winter fun, whether you're outside playing in the snow or inside sipping hot cocoa by the fire.

And that's it. Hope you enjoy it!

Winter Date Ideas

Winter Date Ideas

Hi girls, it's Tijana! So I love winter dates! They are so cute and sweet! If you want to see what are the best places and ideas for a winter date, keep reading.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Ice skating
My personal favorite. It's fun, cute and it will make the both of you laugh. When you fall, he can help you to stand up, you can hold his hand if you're not very good at ice skating... It's so romantic, right?
2. A walk on the snow
This date idea is great if you want to talk with him a lot. Walk with him in a quiet park while the snowflakes fall on your hair, sit on a bench and watch the stars. Maybe you'll be cold, and he'll give you his scarf. Just imagine it!
3. Snowball fight
This is a great idea if you're planing a double date.
You and him, against your friend and her boyfriend.
It will be amazing, and eveyone is going to have a great time :)
4. Movie night
Movie night at your house is an idea for a long time relationship. You can get a few Christmas movies, some popcorn or candy, a blanket, and you're done! You will bond and have fun!
5. New Year
This date is just for the New Year's Eve! If you're not going to spend New Year with your family, go on a date! You can watch fireworks together, and don't forget about that midnight kiss ;)
6. Hot chocolate
If you want a simple, classic date, just get a cup of hot chocolate, sit on a bench and talk. That brings us to the idea no. 2 - a walk on the snow. Or you can just sit in a coffee shop.
That's all! Comment what's your favorite idea! And sorry 'cause the tip is kind od short, but I still hope it will help :) Good luck with your date, have fun!
Lots of love,
Tijana
Christmas Magic Cookie Bar Recipe // Charlie
Christmas Magic Cookie Bar Recipe // Charlie
Hey guys it's Charlie!
So this is a recipe for a christmas thing!
INGREDIENTS:
1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
One 14 oz Can Of Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 & 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup Holiday or regular chocolate chips (divided into 1/2 cup portions)
1 cup chopped nuts (I prefer walnuts)
1 cup Holiday or regular M&M's (divided into 1/2 cup portions)
1 & 1/2 cups flaked coconut
DIRECTIONS:
Unwrap butter and place in 13" x 9" pan. Place pan, with butter, in the oven and turn the oven on to 350*F. Butter can melt in pan while preheating. Keep an eye on it, checking every few minutes and pulling out of the oven when butter is melted. Please be careful while preparing recipe as pan will be very hot.
Crush graham crackers in a food processor to create graham cracker crumbs (or buy crumbs).
When butter is melted, remove pan from oven and carefully sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs over the melted butter. Press in lightly with fork or back of spoon.
Pour sweetened condensed milk over the crumb layer.
Sprinkle 1/2 of the chocolate chips, 1/2 of the M&M's & the nuts over the sweetened condensed milk layer. Sprinkle coconut on top, followed by remaining chocolate chips & M&M's.
Bake in oven for 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven. Allow bars to cool completely. Slice, give and enjoy!
Hope you enjoyed this!
Mockingjay review // Charlie
Mockingjay review // Charlie
Hey guys it's Charlie!
So this is my first review of the month and I figured as I went to see this on Friday that it would be a good idea.
So I LOVED this movie! I thought the whole thing was done so well. Normally if you read the book of a movie first and then see the movie it can be a major disappoint as they don't do the book justice but this was amazing. They made the whole thing so good and it was in my opinion just as good as the book. Another great thing about this movie is that I ship Katniss and Peta so I think this was great. So overall the movie was amazing and I don't want to say anything more incase I spoil is for someone who hasn't seen it and wants to. Even if you haven't thought of going to see it I will say that I highly recommend it to anyone pretty much.
Hope you guys liked this!
Charlie
How to deal with... Annoying and mean classmates
How to deal with... Annoying and mean classmates
Hi guys, Tijana here! If you know, I'm now doing a tip series called 'How To Deal With...' If you don't know what's that, check out my last tip.
This HTDW tip was requested by @bonniemtndog ! Hope it will help xx
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

1. Ignore them.
This is very important! They are being mean because they want to make you mad. Seeing you sad or frustrated, makes them happy. That's why you need to calm down and act like you don't even care. Don't fight with them, just chill, talk with your friends, and act like they're not even in your class.

2. Be kind
That girl is annoying you so much and you just want to slap her? Be kind and nice to her. Use that method to make her confused and never show that you hate her. Then, when she sees that you don't care about her at all, she'll leave you alone.

3. Be with your friends
They understand you and when you're with them, those mean students probably won't bother you. Also, your friends are the people that can make you happy and that can help you out. Always!

4. Try to improve yourself
Get better grades, eat healhy, play a sport, learn a new skill... When they see you being successful and happier than ever, they will be so jelaous and they won't be mean to you again!

5. Tell them what bothers you
If they really take it too far and you just can't ignore it, tell them that you don't like their behavior. But, do it calmly. And never (EVER!) yell or act upset. You don't want to sound like they broke you! No! Act normal and calm!

6. Be positive
Happiness is the most powerful weapon you have! Smile, make jokes, talk with people! That will drive them crazy! And if they still keep trying to make you mad, just ignore it!

7. Don't tolerate violence
If they try to do anything that can hurt you physically, don't tolerate it! Tell your parents, your teacher and your friends. That is very serious and it's not a joke!!

That's all for now! I really hope I helped! Also I want to be a psychologist when I grow up, so your oppinion would mean a lot :)

Lots of love,
Tijana

How To Wear A Beanie

How To Wear A Beanie
Hey guys, it's Hanna.

I've seen lot of people rocking this fashion trend this year and I decided to give you a few tips on how to wear a beanie.

01. Choosing the beanie

ϟ  Consider a neutral color. Bright colors and prints tend to look a little juvenile and will make your style significantly less chic. Black, white, grey, brown, or tan works best, and neutral colors are more versatile overall. If you do want a color, opt for a classic color, like red or blue, and choose a gem tone or a bold color without gravitating toward neon shades.

ϟ  Avoid styles with pompoms, beadwork, or zippers. A simple knit beanie looks classic and stylish, but styles with decorations or embellishments tend to look a little less sophisticated. If you do opt for embellishments, look for a subtle embellishment like decorative brown buttons.

ϟ  Gravitate toward loose-fit styles. Beanies with elastic in them tend to tighten around your forehead. Aside from being uncomfortable and leaving a red line across your skin, a tight-fitting beanie tends to look a little less fashionable.

02. Wearing the beanie

ϟ  Keep the beanie over your forehead for a casual, everyday look. The front of the beanie should be just a little over your eyebrows, and the sides should come down over your ears. Do not pull the beanie all the way down. Instead, leave it a little loose on top and in the back. Push your bangs beneath the hat, especially if they are a little greasy or flat.

ϟ  Add a little twist in back. For a fun little twist on the everyday, wear the hat over your forehead but give it a slight fold in the back. This style, called the "Peter Pan," causes the beanie to sit a little higher on your head and keeps it off your neck. The hat will only cover part of your ears as a result, though. This style works well with both hidden bangs and revealed bangs.

ϟ  Keep cozy by folding the beanie up. While not the most fashionable look, if you plan on being out in the cold for an extended period, fold the hat once around the entire opening. The beanie will be mostly pulled down and snug as a result, making this look more practical than fashionable, and it should cover your forehead, ears, and neck. Wear this style with your bangs hidden.

ϟ  Wear it off the head style. Wear the beanie at the scalp line of the bangs. This will give a fun sophisticated look and it is stylish. Wear white or a lighter peach color with darker or half darker hair and darker or lighter dark with light hair.

ϟ  Give your bangs a little sweep. If you want a look that seems a little more stylish than usual, wear your hat in a looser style further up on your head and leave your bangs out. Sweep them off the the side a bit for a playful twist.

ϟ  Let your bangs hang out. If you have short enough bangs, you can let them hang straight down over your eyebrows. The beanie will flatten your bangs out, though, so this style tends not to work if you have longer bangs that would come down over your eyes. It also works best if you have long hair rather than short or medium hair.

ϟ  Leave you hair down. The easiest thing to do to your hair when wearing your beanie is to simply leave it down. Leaving your hair down prevents any strange bulges from appearing underneath the fabric of your hat, and it also provides you with extra warmth on your neck and ears for the chilly autumn or winter winds.

ϟ  Wear a low ponytail. You can either braid your hair or leave it straight, but if you do decide to wear your hair back, make sure that the ponytail sits low on your head or to the side to keep it from creating an uncomfortable bulge beneath your hat.

More tips:

ϟ  Pack hair serum or hairspray if your hair is dry. People with dry hair tend to get static hair once they take their beanie off. A good hair spray will take care of basic problems, but if you have pickier tresses, you might want to opt for a hair serum, instead.

ϟ  When you know you will be wearing your beanie out, try drying your hair upside down. Doing so will lift the roots, preventing them from getting too flat or greasy when you slip the hat over your head.

And that is it. Hope you like it and try some of these out.

xoxo

How to DRESS for LESS

How to DRESS for LESS

Hi guys, Tijana here! In this tip you will find some adivices that can help you dress fashionable and spend less money than usual. Hope it helps!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Buy clothes at thrift shops. They have some really cool items that are very cheap. You can find things from H&M, Forever 21 and other popular stores, that are not expensive! I once bought a H&M shirt for $3!
2. DIY things that you don't wear anymore. That way, you'll make them look new, and you won't spend a lot of money (or no money at all!)
3. Buy items that you can use every day. Yes, I also thought those neon pink, $40, 5 inch heels were cute! But you won't be wearing that to school so save your money and buy things that you'll use more than once!
4. Shop at online stores. Things that people sell online are usually not quite expensive. And you can find stuff that have 'free shipping' so you don't pay for the delivery.
5. Wear things you wore last year (if they fit you, of course!) I know some girls just want new wardrobe, and I do too, but wearing things you have for a longer time, can help you save money!
6. Accessorize. You can make an old outfit look brighter by just styling it with a necklace or a pair of cool earrings!
7. Go throught your closet and see if you have any clothes that you want to sell. You can earn money by selling items you don't need to a thrift shop, and use that money to buy some wardrobe you want!
I hope you liked the tip! Sorry because it's kind of short, but I still hope you'll use it sometimes :)
Lots of love,
Tijana
How To Be A Shy And Classical Girl
How To Be A Shy And Classical Girl
Hello girls, it's Hanna again.
In this tip you will get a few tips on being a shy and classical girl.
✿ Buy timeless ensembles that flatter your figure.
✿ Being shy and conservative is sweet, and its a natural charmer. When you talk, talk soft and delicate as if you were to raise your voice any louder your voice box would explode.
✿ Hygiene is important. Clip and polish those nails. Clear coat or pale pink ONLY. Keep your hair styled, trimmed, and neat. If you have long hair, wear it in a bun, french twist, or the half up-half down look.
✿ Have good taste in clothing: Be modest in clothing and avoid clothing of bad taste. Extremely low necklines, too short skirts, belly-bearing tops and revealing clothing can make a girl look like she does not respect her body and herself.
✿ Speak calmly. This shows politeness. If you talk very loudly, it will seem that you're desperate for attention. Being loud in public isn't just obnoxious, but also inconsiderate to the people around you. Listen to what people have to say and always make eye contact.
✿ Increase your vocabulary, and stay away from slang terms. Never swear or say racist comments.This makes you ugly on the inside and rude.
✿ Take care of more than just your appearance. Parents will appreciate a girl who cares more about her education and her work ethic than her nails.
✿ Always be kind and friendly to the people serving you.
✿ Be responsible. Classy girls leave their surroundings in a condition at least as good as they found them.
✿ Intelligence and maturity are what make you classy, not the clothing. Read classic literature such as Emily and Charlotte Bronte, Charles Dickens, Sylvia Plath, and other great writers. Study art. Research music theory. Update yourself on current world events.
✿ Value your virtues. If you have any good skill or kind of talent, such as drawing, or dancing, singing or playing any musical instrument, do not hide it, work it.
✿ Be polite and do not abbreviate words.
✿ If you must wear heavy foundation, by all means, DON'T wear one that is either lighter or darker than your natural skin tone. It just looks cheap and tacky.
✿ If you slip up, forgive yourself, apologize to anyone who may have been hurt by your not-so-classy behavior, and continue on your way. That's classy!
✿ Try not to wear bright clothing, it defeats the whole purpose.
And I just realised that this is one of the most boring and stupid tips I ever made. I (usually) don't do any of things listed above and if you don't do the either, it's OK. Anyway I hope it helps.
xoxo
How To Organize Your Wardrobe
How To Organize Your Wardrobe
Hey girls, it's Hanna.
Today I will give you some tips on organizing your wardrobe/closet. This tips are also helpful if you are changing your summer clothes with winter ones.
 👠 Take out all of your clothes.
 👠 Put everything into three piles: donate to charity, keep or throw away.
 👠 Put everything you are throwing away/donating to charity into bags and put them to one side of the room.
 👠 Take all of the clothes you are keeping and sort them into clean and dirty. Wash what is dirty and fold or hang up what is clean!
 👠 Take all of the clothes you are keeping and sort them into sections of your wardrobe. If you have a clothes rail, you may want to colour coordinate everything, (Black with black, pink with pink, Etc.) If you have a wardrobe with sections you could fold T-shirts and put things that won't hang on hangers into the sections. If it's a set hang the shirt and pant on the same hanger.
 👠 Move onto shoes and accessories. Most accessories like belts/scarves will hang up on hangers with other clothing items. Shoes can be put into sections of the wardrobe or on the floor of the wardrobe, or you could put them into a shoe holder if you have one.
More tips:
 👠 Try and make everything fit in your closet you don't want to have a dumping area for clothes.
 👠 You could build a shelf into your wardrobe to store make-up, books, Etc.
 👠 If you have any blankets/bedding then you could also put them into sections of the wardrobe, or leave a basket/box on the wardrobe floor and store them in there.
 👠 You can buy cheap section hangers you hang from the clothes rail in your wardrobe. These are pretty cheap to buy and are great for shoes, accessories or other items such as books or jewellery boxes.
 And that's it! Hope it helps.
xoxo
