1. Let's start with your bio. It's very important for your bio to be short and nice. I know it says biography, but you don't really have to write everything that happened in your life. Say your name, a few interests, and mention if you follow back.
2. Follow other people. A lot of people follow back, so that way you can gain more followers. A good idea is also to like other users' sets. Be sure that they will probably like back :)
3. If you make tips or icons, or anything else, join a tip/icon account. That way you can help other people, and maybe they will decide to follow your private account.
4. Use hashtags and participate in contests. That way, many people will see and like your sets. If someone likes the way you make sets, they'll probably take a look at your account, and follow you.
5. Have friends who also use Polyvore? Ask them to tag you in their bio. You can do the same. And trust me, a lot of people will follow you!
6. Post sets with different themes. Anyone can take a look at your account, but they probably won't follow you if most of your sets have outfits for a "date night". Be creative, bold, and don't be afraid to try something new!
7. Follow the latest trends. Noticed that little lightning on the side of your Polyvore? That's where you can find the latest trends! I followed some accounts that had their sets in the 'trends' icon. And those sets are extremely viewed and liked!
8. Share your Polyvore sets on other social networks. Someone who also has Polyvore can notice that and follow you! Or, anyone that you know and that sees your set can like the idea of the app and instal it. He/She will follow YOU first.
9. You can search for a set, and type something you like, on example, 5sos. You'll find a ton of sets that are related to 5sos and you can even meet new people (and followers) that way!
10. And the last, but not the least, stay unique! Don't copy sets of other members. Everyone would rather follow someone with an extraordinary style, than someone who makes combinations that everybody has already seen. Just stay faithful to yourself and to your style!
