How To Dress Warmly In Winter

How To Dress Warmly In Winter

Hey guys, it's Hanna!

It's cold outside, so bring out your sweaters and cardigans, if you haven't done that yet.

❅ Layer! Layering is always an excellent idea to beat the coolness in your town. Try a regular shirt with a sweater and a jacket or running pants under jeans. Two pairs of socks and heavy built shoes help as well.

❅ With rain, snow, and ice, don't wear any type of athletic shorts or yoga pants. Some shoe choices are also a no. Avoid flats or canvas type shoes. Dresses or skirts unless paired with warm tights or stockings would be a bad idea for the winter.

❅ Warm fabrics. Some warm fabrics are wool, fur, heavy cotton, and leather. You can find adorable ways to be nice and toasty.

❅ Keep your head warm. You lose most of your body heat through your head. Your body will let your brain get cold last, so all of your heat from your hands and feet will be transferred to your head, where it will be lost. Wear a hat and use your coat's hood if you have one, and your limbs will stay warm too.

❅ Prioritise. First keep warm your torso, then your head, next your feet, fourth your neck, fifth your hands and lastly your legs.

❅ Regulate your body heat. If you feel too warm, take off or unfasten a layer. Being too warm leads to sweating, sweating means you get wet, and being wet means getting cold later.

❅ Plan ahead. Know what you are going to wear so that you can be organised rather than just throwing on lots of unsuitable stuff and being too cold.

Hope it helps you guys!

xoxo
