How To Stop Smoking

How To Stop Smoking

Hey guys, it's Hanna.

I know that there are a lot of underage girls on polyvore, and I hope that you don't have a problem with smoking. But if you do, and you would like to do something about it, keep reading.

★ Write a list of reasons to stop smoking. REAL reasons, things that worry you. for example, not "I don't want to get cancer" but "I don't want to smell like a big cigarette all day".

★ Make sum of the money you lose to buy cigarettes yearly. write a list of things you could buy with that money instead.

★ Try to stop smoking on monday. it usually is the worst day of the week. if you succeed, you'll feel so proud!

★ After you decided to stop, try to change the brand of your cigarettes. a different taste could help.

★ Don't keep cigarettes at home. if you're afraid you'll need an emergency cigarette, bring them at some friend's. the idea of having to run to your friend's house without advising him will make you desist.

★ Instead of smoking, try eating sweets. everytime you feel the need of smoking, eat a candy.

★ Distract yourself. go out for a walk, go to the cinema, do some sport etc.

★ Convince yourself you CAN'T smoke. repeat it everytime you feel the need. "I don't smoke. I CAN'T smoke. I won't smoke."

And that is all for now. Hope you find it helpful.

xoxo

How To Dress Like A Hippie

How To Dress Like A Hippie

Hey guys, Hanna here!

Whether you're going to a costume party or changing your style, looking like a hippie isn't really all that hard; after all, one of the tenets of being a hippie is that natural is beautiful – and that your hippie clothes are a chance to express yourself, not enhance yourself. To dress like a hippie, try the following suggestions.

☮ Wear used clothes. Shop at thrift stores, flea markets, and, whenever possible, garage sales. Though you can find gear designed to look “hippie” in other places (like New Age stores and eBay), the whole point of hippie fashion was to stop buying what big corporations were selling in favor of used clothing that was purchased locally.

☮ Choose loose, comfortable, and natural tops. A simple tee will work if you have other accessories to dress it up with, but try to opt for faded, old, or used tees. Hipsters have largely claimed the ironic and retro tees, but that doesn't mean you can't dabble, too.

☮ Try out a vest. A vest is a great option for accessorizing with other tops. In the '60s, at the height of hippiedom, the suede fringe vest was a classic option for man and woman alike. There's a lot that says "hippie," but this screams "hippie."

☮ Carefully choose your kind of jacket. Although the vintage denim jacket is classic hippie, there are other options if you want to spice things up. If it has beads, embroidery, or patterned trim, go for it. Leather, suede, sheepskin, or even fur (although if you're an animal-conscious hippie, you may want to steer clear) are all fair game. An army jacket could also be appropriate in some situations, although some hippies might misinterpret the clothing. You could embroider peaceful slogans on it to make your intentions clear.

☮ Go for denim bell bottoms. Faded, torn, or patched jeans will work if the rest of the outfit is sufficiently hippie, but the holy grail of hippie bottoms is none other than the denim bell bottoms. Men and women both wore these; they're a staple of hippie culture.

☮ Get some denim shorts, especially if they're ripped or torn. Or better yet, rehab your old ones by fraying, ripping, or tearing them (although it's not strictly necessary).

☮ Choose the right kind of sandal or flip-flop. Though hippies made a point of going barefoot, they often wear flat sandals when this isn’t practical.

☮ Try on some hippie boots. Especially in colder weather, or if you want to dress up your outfit, you can try on some boots. Hippie boots are generally suede or leather and could almost pass for booties in a pinch.

☮ Put on select hand-crafted jewellery. Bonus hippie points if you make your own.

☮ Choose your belt. A wide leather belt, peace-symbol belt, or chain belt would work nicely. Anything that says DIY or vintage pretty much goes.

☮ If you don’t mind altering your clothes, add fringes. In fact, add fringes to everything you can get away with. Back in the day, this was done to pants, shirts, vests, jackets, or anything else that could feasibly be fringed.

☮ Grow your hair out. Whether you're male or female, long hair is the norm. This is mainly because you're not going to bother getting it cut! It should be clean (you still bathe!), but it doesn't have to be anything beyond that.

☮ Wear a headband. Wear your headband horizontally over your forehead, not vertically over your hair, and accessorize it with a flower (a daisy is classic).

☮ Style your hair minimally. Leave your hair long, loose, and low-maintenance. Don't put any chemicals in it. The less you style it, the better.

☮ Consider getting dreadlocks if you think you could deal with them. Getting dreadlocks is notoriously difficult, but they're definitely worth it if you think that you can pull them off. They're a labor of love.

☮ Keep the make-up to a minimum. For women, go practically bare. A bit of black kohl outlining your eyes is okay, but not much more than that. Stay away from lipstick and any outrageous, obvious coloring. You're a child of the earth, after all.

And this it it. Hope some of you try it out!

xoxo

Things to do when it's raining

Things to do when it's raining

Hi guys, Tijana here! I know that fall and winter are really the rainiest seasons and that we have to spend a lot of time at home because of that, so I am going to show you some things to do when it's raining! Enjoy!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Read! Reading with a cup of tea in your hand, on a rainy day is a true fantasy! Don't even try to say I'm wrong, just feel the magic!
2. Watch a movie! Is it comedy, romance or maybe adventure? It doesn't matter! Just lay down, turn on your TV or computer and relax!
3. Cook! Try out some cupcake recipes that are easy and fast, and serve the product to your family! Or you can just eat them all by yourself (lol).
4. Explore YouTube! There are literally thousands of YouTubers with amazing, funny and helpful videos that you will enjoy watching on a rainy day!
5. Chat with your friends! Seriously is there a better thing to do? Repeating: 'I know right, girl!' and gossiping about every kid that goes to your school is the best thing to do on a boring, rainy day.
6. Spend some family time! Forget about how annoying your sister is or how your mom doesn't get you and play some board games with your family, and trust me you will love it!
7. Sleep! Ever complained about how you don't have enough time to sleep and rest? Do that when it's raining! It's proven that it's most likely to fall asleep on a rainy day!
8. Do quizes! Try out BuzzFeed ones, because they have a lot of them, and also very much interesting articles!
9. Sing! Download a karaoke app and imagine you're on a world tour with Beyonce and Jay Z! I recomend app Sing! by Smule.
10. I know you will probably just grab your phone and a jar of Nutella, but still try out some of these advices!
That's it for now! Also I am sorry for not posting for a while, I was very busy with school! Anyway hope you liked the tip! || Question of the tip: What is your favorite drink? ||
Lots of love,
Tijana
How To Do Autumn Makeup
How To Do Autumn Makeup
Hey guys, it's Hanna.
Well it's not winter just yet, so I decided to make another autumn tip for you guys.
01. Prepare your makeup surface. Start by washing your face with facial cleanser, applying toner and then moisturizer. These are very important as they clean and freshen up your face!
02. Apply a small amount of foundation to your face. Make sure to blend down your neck and onto your ears. This way, it won't leave streaks or smudges. Try a brown foundation for the Autumn look!
03. Apply concealer to your under-eyes, the sides of your nose and any spots or blemishes. Be sure to blend in! Try a brown concealer for the Autumn look!
04. Line your eyebrows. When doing this, look carefully to see that the eyebrow pencil matches your eyebrow color. Blend in using an eyeshadow brush, not your fingers!
05. Dab your powder brush into pressed powder and apply to all areas of your face, neck and ears. This sets the makeup and gives it a long lasting finish.
06. Apply black mascara to your upper lashes, not your lower. This makes your eyes stand out more and makes you look more awake and lively.
07. Apply a neutral shade of lip gloss to your lips. This makes you look fun and exciting and ready for a good day, and gives you an Autumn effect! You will also feel happy and gorgeous!
Here are a few more tips and tricks that I like to do in fall time:
- Painting your nails either gold or beige will turn you into an Autumn model!
- Remember to remove your makeup before bed to prevent spots and other gross blemishes!
- Not necessary, but consider choosing an eyeshadow in a fall color. Some fall colors include: red, yellow, orange, and brown.
- I personally like using brown mascara in fall time, because I feel like it gives more autumn look.
- And lastly I use darker shades of lipstick. Dark red, brown-ish, darker shade of purple, nothing too bright or pink.
Hope this helps you guys!
xoxo
How To Make A Flower Crown
How To Make A Flower Crown
Hey guys, it's Hanna.
Floral crowns are super easy to make and super cute to look at. Here is how to make this fall fashion trend.
✿ Pick or buy fresh or fake flowers. The beauty of making a flower crown is that you can use any type of flower you like. Stay true to the season by picking bunches of wildflowers from the side of the road, or go to a flower shop and choose gorgeous hothouse stems. To make this simple wired crown you can pick enough flowers to circle your entire head or just the sides and front.
✿ Cut the stems to 2 inches. All the stems should be the same length, so that the finished crown will look neat with no stem ends visible.
✿ Create the wire base. You'll need a few feet of floral wire, which you can find at any craft store. Choose either green or brown, depending on your taste. To create the base, simply measure the circumference of your head with a measuring tape, then cut a length of wire twice as long. Loop it twice, then rest it on your head. Adjust as needed, and secure the wire loop with a piece of florists' tape that matches your wire.
✿ Arrange your flowers in a pattern. Lay out the wire base and place your flowers around the wire in the arrangement that you like best. You can alternate different shapes and sizes, or consider placing the largest flowers in front and tapering the smaller flowers toward the back of the crown.
✿ Attach the first flower to the taped part of the wire. Centering your first flower over the part where the wire base is taped is a convenient way to hid the seam. Attach the flower by aligning the stem with the wire base, then looping a piece of florist tape around to secure it. Make sure the flower is firmly in place before continuing.
✿ Lay the second flower next to the first one. Arrange it so that the stem of the second flower slightly overlaps the first flower, and the blooms are seated right next to each other. Don't leave a gap between the two blooms, or your crown won't look as full.
✿ Continue attaching flowers. Keep securing flowers to your crown in this same manner, working your way around the circle. Check to make sure the blooms rest against each other, and ensure there are no gaps along the way. Keep going until you've used up all of the flowers you laid out in the beginning.
✿ Try on your crown. If you see any gaps or places where you want it to look more full, gently part the flowers, insert another one and tape it in place. Tie on a long ribbon in the back for a pretty effect.
And that's it. Hope you girls try it out.
xoxo
How To Enjoy The Advantages Of Autumn
How To Enjoy The Advantages Of Autumn
Hey girls, Hanna here.
Autumn is here and it is one of my favourite seasons. Here are a few advantages of fall. Hope you enjoy.
✌ Spend time with your family. With this weather you don't have to go out that much and you can make some family time. Have a game night instead of watching at the TV or talk with your family about your family members projects.
✌ Get out and photograph everything. At this this time of the year the light is perfect to make great pictures of the trees, especially since their leaves are coloring beautifully. Go out to your local park ans start photographing!
✌ Get some time for yourself. Now is the excellent time to read or watch any of your books and movies you couldn't watch during the summer. Get yourself a cosy place at the fire with a hot coco.
✌ Get yourself shopping. This is the perfect time for shoppers to get warm winter cloths for yourself and/or your family usually at this time of the year you have a lot more choice and it's cheaper. Get yourself a new winter coat and of course don't forget to buy that matching outfit and shoes.
✌ Remember that time when you complained so much about the heat during the summer? The temperature during Autumn is just perfect. So you can easily go out and take a walk in the park if the sun is shining. Just don't forget to bring your umbrella in case it starts to rain.
✌ If you have a dip, don't think too much about everything you hate during autumn, but be happy and think about the fun moments you can have. Or you can read this article to remind yourself about it again.
✌ A rainy day walk in Autumn can be very enjoyable! Just dress warmly, and wear a raincoat and carry an umbrella. Drinking something hot (like hot cider, tea, or hot chocolate,) is the perfect way to warm up when you go back in!
What is your favourite advantage of fall season?
Winter outfit ideas + some style tips
Winter outfit ideas + some style tips
Hi guys, Tijana here! Your reaction to 'Date outfit ideas' tip was really good, so I decided to make another one! Enjoy! And remember to join our new taglist, by just liking that set!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

1. CASUAL
For the first outfit I went with a simple, everyday style. A pair of cute, pink Uggs completes the whole 'comfy and casual' idea. This is a perfect outfit for a long day at school, and it takes just a few minutes to style!

Sweater ~ pinkqueen.com
Jeans ~ newlook.com
Boots ~ stylebop.com

TIP: Use sweaters with different prints to give your style a nice, yet a comfortable look. I recommend getting some winter themed sweaters (with snowflake, reindeer, lollipop print) just to give your outfit a cute, warm touch.

2. FANCY
For the second outfit I picked something that's more for a special occasion. It's also very adorable, and it's super cool if you're going on a sweet winter date. I also think that curled hair goes perfect with the whole look, and that it really looks amazing under a beanie.

Dress ~ H&M
Beanie ~ houseoffraser.co.uk
Tights ~ francescas.com
Boots ~ yesstyle.com

TIP: Use skater dresses as a cool combo with beanies. It looks stylish, but it still goes very well for a special event. Skater dresses go well with different boots, like wedge or platform boots.

3. CHIC
For the third outfit I used things that scream: COOL! Along with our tip 'How To Be Cool At School' this is just the best look ever! The necklace is very small and it goes pretty nice with the orange details on the boots.

Shirt ~ johnlewis.com
Jeans ~ pieces.com
Boots ~ aeropostale.com (Bethany Mota's collection)
Necklace ~ manictrout.com

TIP: Use different accessories to make the details on some items pop out. Like I did with the details on the boots and the necklace. That gives a cool and unique look to a regular combination.

That's it guys! I know it's not winter yet, but the weather looks like that, for sure! Go and like the 'Taglist' set to join our new, winter taglist!
|| Question of the tip: What's your favorite season? ||

Lots of love,
Tijana

how to jazz up a plain ponytail

how to jazz up a plain ponytail

Hey guys it's Charlie!
So basically this is just telling you a few random ways to 'jazz up' or make a ponytail look a bit cuter. They are all really simple. So here they are...

How to: Jazz up a plain ponytail

Start by brushing out your hair and then take for small sections of hair from equal places on the top of your head. Split each section into three and braid it. After you have done this to all four sections then secure your hair into a ponytail. The ponytail can be low or high but I personally think that it looks best when it’s not super high. I’ve seen this on a girl at dancing and it seems to hold really well and I think it looks awesome.
Brush out your hair and secure it in a ponytail. It can be high or low. Take a small section of the hair from the back of the ponytail and wrap it around the hair tie. When you run out of hair or the hair tie is completely covered then secure the hair in place by using a bobby pin and pinning it into the back of the ponytail and it won’t be seen. This is super cute and it honestly takes 20 seconds if not less and it just adds a little bit extra.
Brush your hair and put it in a high ponytail. Braid the ponytail. It isn’t really a ponytail but it still has the original structure of one and I think this looks really cute and is a bit more formal then a normal ponytail.

So that's it. I hope you enjoyed this and it helps somebody!

How To Be Cool At School

How To Be Cool At School

Hey guys, it's Hanna here!

Pretty much everybody want to be cool at school and in this tip I will give you a few tips on how to do that.

1. Making A Good Impression

ツ Get clean. One of the easiest things you can do for your popularity status is stay fresh and smelling good. Kids in school tend to judge a book by its cover, and being smelly is a one-way ticket to the reject table. Take showers regularly, brush your teeth, floss, and use deodorant. You'll look more attractive, whether you're a guy or a girl, too.

ツ Style your hair. In addition to not being clean, you also won't attract a lot of friends if you looked like you just rolled out of bed, regardless of what age you are. Take a few minutes in the morning to style your hair however you think it looks best. A little bit of effort goes a long way, even if it's just a bit of gel or a couple rounds with a flat iron or blow dryer.

ツ Pay attention to your clothes. Every school is different, and there is not one individual look that ensures you'll be cool. At some schools its the rebels who are "cool," at others it's the "jocks." The only thing you can really do is pay attention to your clothes and make sure you walk out the door with a look you know you like.

2. Making Lots of Friends

ツ Join a handful of organizations. Being cool isn't just about being popular, it's about being known. And what's the easiest way to get your name and your face recognized? By joining groups at school, of course. Try to join a few that don't overlap – that way you'll meet the most people and have a wide variety of interests.

ツ Observe. Try to identify who's where on the "social ladder." It's not that big of a deal (being cool is about being liked, which is different than being popular), but it will help you know how to identify with people. It's a good idea to be friends with people on all rungs of the ladder – you never know where you'll end up.

ツ Be friendly with everyone. Again, being cool doesn't necessarily mean you're popular. There are plenty of "popular" kids that are mean and not actually liked. Being one of them won't get you anywhere. Instead, aim to be popular and cool by having people legitimately like you. To do that, just be friendly and nice to everyone you meet.

ツ Don't try so hard. Just about every adult will tell you that when you grow up, you'll realize that being cool doesn't really matter and if they would've known that being cool is about not trying, they wouldn't have stressed so much. Though it's easier said than done, try to relax a little. If you're trying too hard, it's a turnoff and people won't think you're confident and that you don't like yourself.

ツ Avoid being a bully or the victim. Don't be mean to other people in your school just to make yourself seem cooler. In fact, people generally hate bullies, they're just too scared to admit it to their faces.[2] In time, the bullies lose their power and then they're left with nothing. It may be tempting now, but in the long run it will only do you harm.

3. Being Friendly, Confident And Likable

ツ Be open-minded. Remember that part above about how being cool is about being liked by lots of different people? Well, to get all these different types of people liking you, you've got to like them. Open your mind and try to see that not only the coolest kids have value – that everyone does. You'll come off as a friendly, more likable, happier person – and that's the type of person most of us want to be around.

ツ Respect people. Being respectful to others even if they aren't your friends shows that you don't discriminate people based on anything because they are not your friends. You'll develop a positive reputation of always being kind and considerate and being friends with everyone because they can rely on you and that you won't judge them. That definitely sounds pretty cool.

ツ Keep it positive. If you want to be a magnet for people, to get all of them liking you, stay positive. Keep your chin up, be willing to laugh at yourself, and spread your positivity and awesomeness. Other people will end up flocking to your side so it rubs off on them.

ツ Stay true to you. Though the phrase "be yourself" is pretty cliche, it doesn't mean that it's not valuable advice. In fact, it should be pretty clear between "don't try too hard" and "stick to your own sense of style" that being yourself is where it's at. Being yourself means you're comfortable with yourself and you're more confident. When you try to be someone else, you're just an imitation, and imitations are definitely not cool.

And that's it. Hope it helps!

xoxo

How to improve your Instagram

How to improve your Instagram

Hi guys, Tijana here! I'm here to show you how to improve your Instagram and have more followers, likes etc. This is a tip just for personal and NOT FAN ACCOUNTS! Hope you like it! (Also, don't forget to answer the question at the end of the tip!)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. First thing is your username. If your username is not your real name, make sure that it's creative, something that describes you or something you like. On example, if you like ecology try something like this: Eco_chick_4 I think it's something simple and nice. People usually put a number at the end, but you can put anything else you want ( :D ;) $ # ...)
2. Then comes your BIO. It has to be short and clear. Maybe a quote you like, your hobbies, interests, real name (if it's not mentioned in your username)... Also, I think it's sweet to put an emoji. I love those.
3. Your profile pic. When it comes to this, try to select one of these: selfie with a smile, nature pic, photo with love themes, personalized icon...
4. Things you post. Try to think about Instagram as your life book. Not in the way of "see every second of my life" or "look at my floor, it's polished" kind of way. But in the way of sharing pics of where have you been (i just started to sing Rihanna's Where have you been song, help me), crazy selfie with your BFF, clothes you are wearing, book you love, quote you found, funny pics...
5. Use trends. Every day has it's own trend.
-Monday - #ManCrushMonday #ManicureMonday #MusicMonday #MondayBlues
-Tuesday - #TakeMeBackTuesday #TransformationTuesday
-Wednesday - #WayBackWednesday #WednesdayWisdom #WellnessWednesday
-Thursday - #ThrowbackThursday #ThirstyThursday
-Friday - #FridayReeds #FridayNight #FridayFunday
-Saturday - #Caturday #SaturdaySwag
-Sunday - #SelfieSunday #SinDay
Make sure you don't (on example) post a selfie and put a hashtag #Caturday ...
 + You can also make up your own hashtags!
6. A lot of people do f4f (follow for a follow) and if you are ready to follow every single person that follows you be sure to write that in your bio.
7. If you are following celeb accounts, try not to follow every private/fan/personal account. I'm not stopping you, but it can block your feed and it happened to my friend.
8. If you want people to like your photos, and I'm sure you do, like their posts. It's most likely that 80% of the people will like back.
9. Someone's posting rude comments on your photo? Block and report them. Don't continue the fight, be a bigger person. Just block and report and Instagram will maybe delete their account. People can really be rude, but you need to ignore it.
10. No one likes an account that has about a 100+ selfies. And specially if half of them were taken in the same day, with a nearly same face expression like idk duck face. Everyone think it's so cool. I think it's not, you decide...
11. If you want your account to be "really big on IG" leave it public. Then people can see your photos when they click on a hashtag. But remember, there are a bunch of creeps that are weird and scary. Block those! If you don't want everyone to see your account set it on 'private'
12. And the last, but not the least, do not post rude photos (where you are insulting anyone) or inappropriate photos (specially of yourself!)
Nobody likes that!
That's it for now! I hope this will help you! Good luck with gaining your followers ;) || Question of the tip: Who's your celebrity crush? ||
Lots of love,
Tijana
